Popped to my local HMV this morning (Sunderland) sadly the only one they had in stock in 4k was Solo so paired it with Age of Ultron. Regular Blu Ray wise they only had Solo Rouge One and Rise of Skywalker as apparently they haven't had the full delivery yet and they were still putting alot of the stock out so I've ordered the rest off zoom. In regards to the slips the black has a glossy finish with the image itself being like a matte, flat feel to it. Definitely a finger print magnet for the OCD collectors out there like myself. Now I get to play stalk the postman this week waiting for them to come and finding out if all 10 have slips

Why? You mean the Amazon set?

I got that and I don't regret it for a moment.

I think the issue is that the original release (which did have a slip, at least mine did) won't be uniform with the new ones so it would have paid to wait.

Yeah just the original stand-alone TROS release.

I mean the original slip is so nice it would be hard to part with it, but matching case OCD is calling me for the other ones I want to pick up! Plus yeah, the big drop in price difference, especially as I want 4 of these!

It's annoying. I'll probably end up just swapping my existing copy for the new one at some point (while the slips last) as I'm not particularly married to keeping the existing slip.

My days of double-dipping unnecessarily are long gone now, but for Star Wars I'll probably make an exception.

The real quandary, for me, is whether or not to pick up the PT movies (and TLJ) before the slips disappear. I really cba, but.......

If you buy them from Zoom on eBay, you can buy them in odd numbers and it still knocks off 25% making them £15 each.

Haha! It's tricky because I knew this was inevitable but didn't think it would happen quite so soon. I was happy to jump on getting the TROS 4K on release day, but I guess I'll get what I want out of this deal now and sell off some of the previous releases to make up for it.

Cheers for that, that's what I went with.

£75 for R1, OT and TFA, yes please

Also, bonus, with ebay I can click and collect and so avoid a nagging off Mrs Spectre for buying Star Wars AGAIN!

Does anyone know how to use Nectar points with eBay? I can get a Trilogy for £30 with a £15 voucher.

Edit: Under My eBay there's a Nectar logo with links to do so.

Hopefully this will help with others with points too.

Does the case art match the new artwork or is that just the slipcover?

Wish you hadn't mentioned that Chip. I've got £20 sitting on my card, so now the prospect of TLJ and TROS for £10 is weighing on my mind..........

The HMV online store have now updated the DVD, BD and 4K TROS art to the new one...

Has anyone made an order from HMV online consisting of more than 2 titles before? Curious how they package and send them out, as I've only ever bought 2 at the same time.

Wrap-around mailer for a handful of items, anymore than that and I think they're boxes and air-cushions.

Is there any benefit in getting these new Disney discs (the non-4K ones)? I assume the OT are still Lucas’ revised versions.

I've done the same. Not to avoid the nagging from your wife, but because 5 won't fit through the letterbox if they ship them all together
