My Target had a big cardboard 4 sided display with (I think) four sections on each side holding different editions. I only looked at two of the four sides, but those two had the digibooks in the top section, two stacks, side by side on each of the two sides, with at least 10+ copies in each stack, so a minimum of about 40+ copies just on the two sides I looked at!

I pre-ordered the Bat Cowl version back when Amazon had it for $27 on the first day. As it seems it is sold out and soon to be a limited find, I am thinking I may not open it. What do you guys think? Keep it wrapped?
If I keep it sealed, I still need to buy another version on my way home from work today, because no matter what I'm watching it tonight. So should I get the Target book or the BB Steelbook? Last edited by paper tiger; 12-04-2012 at 01:43 PM. |

Unless your Best Buy gets short shipped, my local store had PLENTY of everything so I wouldn't worry.
I was kind of surprised actually as to how many they had. |

Maybe it costed $14.99 to preorder it but the steel book isn't that price.

Why did you think it would be $14.99? The Steelbook is $24.99, so you'll have to pay the difference.

Did you, or are you going to open it? I pre-ordered it from Amazon a while back and I'll be getting it in the mail today. I was thinking of keeping it sealed as it is a limited release, then just buying another version so I can still watch the movie.

In the Trilogy set (this thing has an incredibly sturdy box), there is a piece of paper with a code on it to redeem on the WB website so you can get a "special discount offer for the purchase of collectibles that will be included in THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY ULTIMATE COLLECTOR'S EDITION" Coming 2013"...
Interesting. I go to the site it says (http://www.wbshop.com/jump.do?itemID...gy&code=DKTUCE) and enter the code and all it says is "THANKS FOR REGISTERING"... How does it even know to get me special discounts without even having to put my email in or anything? EDIT: So I just typed gibberish into the bar on the page and it still said thanks for registering lol |
