I still need some people to do raids/strikes with. My user name is the same as here "lizard slayer" if you want to join up, I am usually on at nights and weekends.

I'm about half way through level 27 BTW

Man, that's been my go-to since I got it from a Blue Engram as a young Level 23. L28 now and it's survived being replaced by other Legendaries and the Red Death.

I really hope that Xur punk ass has either the Crest of Alpha Lupi or the Mask of the Third Man for my Hunter this weekend. I want to complete his look and hit L29.

Traded in Destiny today since was the last day to get 40$ for it at Gamestop. Loved my time with the game, but just felt I wouldn't get much more out of it.

Just had the weirdest experience in Iron Banner, a map where the control points didn't do anything. Standing in them would not convert them, for either team.

I got it the same way, though as a level 20. I'm 4 ascendant energy away from it being fully upgraded. I love the damned thing!

I got capped at 200 Vanguard Marks but went "over" so lost around 13 marks for the week. Just bought a Legendary gun to test it out for the night before I then sell it. Thinking I probably should have bought armor instead.

Might have to try giving this a whirl with a group tbh. If you can do that, I think we can all literally get the raid done in under an hour easily each time.

Iron Banner is fun, but its just another reputation grind with very little rewards. I'm 300 rep away from Rank 2 and if it takes 2500-3000 rep to hit rank 3 I probably won't even bother. I've played 30 Iron Banner matches and received one strange coin, one mote of light, one shader, and around 10 rare items/engrams.

Here is a taste of my crappy RNG luck.

Tops on my team, no reward.

I didn't get anything!

Just did Devil's Lair with Harlock and LizardSlayer, and I picked up a purple engram. I turned it in to the cryptarch, and low and behold, he gave me the Exotic pulse rifle, Red Death. I couldn't believe it. Pretty stoked about it, especially after seeing it for sale from Xur last weekend and not being able to buy it.

They also joined up with me for the Weekly Heroic Strike. They definitely helped me beat it....level 26 enemies were seriously tough. Thanks guys.

I wanna take a crack at the Nightfall though. Didn't get enough licks in against the enemies last time around for me.

Sometimes I get mad that I don't get anything from matches, but then I don't really matter since it's usually all rare items that are useless for me now. Ascendant Shards or Energy would be nice though.

Finally got a Legendary weapon, a Legendary Fusion Rifle - LIGHT/Beware. Not tried it yet but should come in handy in the Iron Banner

Also got some legendary boots but they were for a Warlock and I'm a Hunter. Thrown it in the fault in case I create a Warlock Gaurdian
