I picked up the steelbook and don't see the 'Reborn' documentary on the special features disc. Was it supposed to be a digital only exclusive?? Anybody open up their steel book and check the special features disc?

Interesting. I go to the site it says (http://www.wbshop.com/jump.do?itemID...gy&code=DKTUCE) and enter the code and all it says is "THANKS FOR REGISTERING"... How does it even know to get me special discounts without even having to put my email in or anything?

I did, and the first thing it asks for is my email address.
So I suppose they want to form a mailing list of people that enter the code?

So did I - 3 days ago. They don't match until they get X# of reports.

Uh, you bought the Blu and you'll "watch it a couple times" AND you "saw it 3 times in the theaters" - but you were "underwhelmed" & "disappointed"?

The code is to be used in the future. From the sound of it, I think it's a way for people who bought the trilogy set to "upgrade" to the UCE without rebuying the movies. It's an opportunity to basically get the extras for it at a discounted price. The email entry is to let you know when that opportunity happens.

The September 30th 2014 expiration date leads me to believe the UCE will be released on 9/30/13 as digital codes tend to expire a year after the product is released.

I didn't actually read the webpage lol it just looked at the paper and I thought it said the same stuff. Sorry.

So yeah I guess its just going to be a mailing list and when the time comes they will ask you to enter the code.

I watched this last night and it looks and sounds incredible. The sound is so fierce during the action sequences that dialogue does get drowned out from time to time. You might have to rasie the volume on your center channel before watching.

Went to my Target (Tempe Marketplace, AZ) to get the digibook. It wasn't stocked up front or in the movie section.

I asked an employee about it, and he and his two associates had no clue about the exclusive. They checked on their price guns, and it showed 40 in stock. They couldn't find any of them. On top of that, these people weren't very good with customer service. There was no, "Can I help you?" or "Would you like me to check in the back for you?" All they said at first was, "We don't know where it is."

After I checked around the store quick, I asked if they could check in the back. And they still could find nothing. Came back to me and said, "Yeah we're not sure about that."

Maybe I'll go back later and see if these guys have some sort of revelation, but it was freaking ridiculous trying to deal with them, added with the fact that the store didn't have a clue where their own merchandise was.

I might go

Just another case of more drones working at stores. Imagine going at midnight and this happening? Man I would be ticked!

I just watched the opening plane sequence just to see how it looks and sound, Ill watch the rest tonight, but I cant figure out why Bane's voice is so much louder than everyone else's. It sounds really silly and overdubbed. It's so obvious that it isn't the voice that was recorded on set. I think this was a really poor decision on Nolan's part overreacting to what everyone was saying about him being so difficult to understand in the prologue.

I saw the Prologue and he sounded so much better in it although his words were jumbled. Wish they included an option to actually switch back to the original voice.

I cant see why they wouldnt exchange it, although you're probably going to get someone that's going to think you're really weird for caring about something like that.

I think you're right in your assessment. Still, nice offer by WB because honestly, this trilogy box set is really, really nice. Might not need to upgrade.

We'll see.
