He reacted in a stupid way to a simple question but i am surprised the reporter took them remarks and didn't do anything about it but after pearson apologised today the reporter has accepted it.

That's because Pearson is a legend, no silly stupid ostrich is gonna retaliate against him.

Leicester have clearly been working on their set pieces since playing Chelsea! Two goals in the first fifteen minutes (one in the first minute!). I think Newcastle will score in the second half but it doesn't look like Leicester have dried up either - far from it in fact. I don't think the game is a done deal but it'll be a real shocker if Newcastle manage to come out on top by the end.
Hopefully Everton pull off another performance like they did against United and we can climb up and over Villa and one safer rung on the ladder higher. |

Great win for us and it keeps our hopes alive. We simply had to win. Next week will decide it now. If we beat Everton, we can stay up. Lose and it is likely we fall 4 points behind to either hull or Leicester, maybe both. With Arsenal and Chelsea remaining, that would be curtains for us. We need arsenal to get 3 or 4 on Monday. That would mean our goal difference is better than hull. |

I like Leicester as a club and the fans (especially you Pizzamorg) but I thought Pearson's behaviour was disgraceful. The way he spoke to that guy wasn't right. He basically, imo, tried to belittle him in front of his piers. He comes across as very arrogant to me and a bit of a bully (in my opinion) I have lost a lot of respect for him.

Obviously I'm happy for all involved but also really bitter that Leicester's biggest win of the season was basically cancelled out in terms of points and place on the table by the victories around us.
Hopefully Newcastle don't have a surprise turn of form like Hull and Leicester or pull of a surprise win like Villa and Sunderland did this weekend and then we can use them as the sacrifice. They've got the Baggies next just after they beat United, so hopefully the Baggies can win. |

Such is your momentum, I would be stunned if you don't win. The thing is, if you lose to them AND us, you still have a excellent chance of stopping up. We have to go to gunners and Chelsea last two games.

I think Leicester staying up now is almost a guaranteed certainty but I'd rather finish thirteenth or fourteenth than scrape it with a seventeenth place finish which I think Leicester can achieve, although it's more decided by how many surprises happen around them.

To be completely honest Tob, I feel it's just a stay of execution. I don't see us going to Everton and winning. I just don't. If that turns out to be the case and Leicester or Hull win (both highly likely) that pretty much relegates us. 4 points behind with two of the worst possible away games to come and one home game. Even if we beat Leicester, we pretty much can't afford for either to pick any more points up. It just isn't going to happen. We have played with fire for too long and lack of ambition has killed us. To not learn from the mistakes of last season will go down in history as one of the greatest blunders of all time by this football club. Shame on you Short. Shame on you Congerton. Shame on you Byrne. If only Poyet had gone several weeks earlier. Short waited too long and now we are stuck in quicksand.
