It seemed to me that Gamora and Star Lord were about even and I think Rocket should be the weakest .

Not sure I would pin all of that on Norton.....

i only got to pg 186 so not sure if someone brought this up, but maybe that qualifies as needing a spoiler tag?

it's not just marvel, other studios/directors have had issues with him. i'm not against him, i like him on screen, it's his off screen issues that are problematic. i'm sure it's not all Norton either, i'm sure the studios and directors did their parts too; but when the studios and directors want something a certain way, you give it to them, your an actor and that's what your paid to do. fans liked him in the hulk and were dissappointed he wasn't banner in the avengers; he wasn't banner because of those issues mentioned.

again, i still like him as an actor.

It wouldn't mesh with the comics if he could say more than that though.

Plus it just works... it's similar to the Han/Chewie relationship. Where we don't need to know exactly what Chewie is saying. Because Han is there to either respond to him or give us the gist of what he's saying.

In this instance, the director held the same viewpoint as Norton, and it's hard to deny the vision they had sounds better than what Feige gave us...

Additionally Norton was brought on as a writer as well.

But making it public was a no-no. That's when things become bigger than they originally are.

I love how Rocket translated for him. Reminded me of my toddler who is 4 and has trouble speaking but his brother translates perfectly for him lol

I presume the next villain will be Taserface. He's connected to Tony Stark in a way that would make sense to put him here. Plus, like Lockdown in Transformers, the man can make his face into a cannon. Awesome!

Would someone be so kind to point where where in this picture is
[Show spoiler]Howard the duck? Apparently he can be seen in the first shot of the collector in the movie, but I can't find find him. I also heard Beta ray bill was seen but that could be bull. Also, where is the slither creature?

Edit: found Howard

I caught this over the weekend and had a great time with it. I can't explain it any better, the jokes were great, the action was grand, and the story was fun to follow. I did not realize how quickly the 2 hours flew by! I want more!

I sure wouldn't. Absolutely nothing happens in the middle portion of the movie and Rourke just sits in a room for most of the movie.

But the movie does have my favorite Black Widow hairstyle.

It was like everyone was going WTF??..and it fell flat.

Of course after that it got better..

Yeah, he wasn't badass enough in that scene. I mean dancing?! What is up with that?! He should've slaughtered those little animals like a badass instead.

I do put IM2 far above IM3, if only for the scene where Tony realizes that his father really did love him, and that they share a common problem with alcohol.

I also found the fight with the Armored drones and the teaming up with War Machine far more satisfying than the shenanigans with Killian and his powered up fire goons...

My only problem with IM2 was the way Justin Hammer was portrayed, as a mostly incompetent and hyper Tony Stark wannabe.

James Gunn officially confirms reference to a certain character we've all been discussing...

[Show spoiler]
Quote:
"There is the Slither creatures from my movie Slither behind the Collector; those guys are pretty obvious," said Gunn when asked to give a guide to The Collector's museum. "You have Adam Warlock's cocoon. You have all sorts of characters from other Marvel movies; a Dark Elf back there, who's played by Doug Jones, one of our stunt guys."
