Dark Force just posted an update on their facebook page that said Bill was embroiled in more drama - apparently last night he fell while getting out of the shower and wedged his head between the tub and toilet, where he lay screaming for 5 hours until paramedics broke down the door at 3am and rescued him. Apparently he has been hospitalized again and the status of more copies of SOAWN is in limbo until DD visits him in the hospital tomorrow.

LOL this has to be a joke, right? I just saw the Facebook post too and the "Dark Force Enquirer" drawing about killed me. They mention there will be a live feed tomorrow while they visit him at the Kaiser hospital. It seems almost too outlandish to be believed.

There's two possibilities with DF's post. One, this really happened to Bill and DF is using an insanely unfortunate accident (can you imagine having paramedics pry your nude body out after your head is lodged against where you shit?) to incorporate the title of this release as a kind of joke and form of hype. Two, this didn't really happen and it's some kind of attempt to hype the release even further. Either possibility is absolutely off the rails bonkers.

I guess we’ll find out soon enough. I googled Kaiser Hospital and it’s a real hospital in LA. No hospital is going to let someone be admitted as a publicity stunt and even a brief hospital stay would cost more than whatever profits SOAWN sales would bring in. If there is live streaming from Bill’s actual hospital room tomorrow, we’ll know it’s true.

Perhaps there will be another item on the local LA news confirming this, about paramedics being admitted to the Kaiser Psych Ward after stumbling upon a nude Bill wedged against a toilet.

If it had actually happened, we'd probably be hearing about how Bill discovered a cache of blu-rays that were wedged behind the toilet.

Well, we would know Bill is in the hospital. For what actual reason, we would still have no idea.

Is it me or does it feel like to you that this relatively new to the Blu-ray collector's biz Dark Force guy (I don't remember his name) has latched on to Code Red's Bill and is kinda using Bill to sell his own stuff?

I almost feel bad for Bill when I read this story and then the other day watching some of that disturbing video of Bill in that banana costume waving around a real gun and pointing it at his own head. I love collecting as much as the next guy but this is out hand, don't you think?

I really wish they would just spend their energy making and selling better quality releases rather than all of this gimmick BS.

I stayed in some dump motels on road trips in college where toilets were super close to the shower, but unless Bill lives in a flop house or a dump motel, you're right there's no way that could happen.

Dave DeFalco comes from the world of wrestling, where everything is larger than life and super hyped. That is the only kind of promotion style he knows - that over-the-top dramatic hype - and that’s how he is promoting his Dark Force projects too. No matter what anyone thinks of him or Bill, you have to admit he has succeeded in getting us all to talk about them! LOL

Remember the third possibility, the one you get by remembering to put this through the DD translator.... Bill is in the hospital, due to his ongoing illness, in some way shape or form and, for their amusement, DD and Bill have constructed a more entertaining version of the story. Good for them, I say. If you fall in the shower, and I don't know that this is what happened, you better have gotten your head stuck. My uncle fell, many years ago, and was in the empty bathtub for hours. But when he told the story, he fell, kicked out a glass door he didn't even have (shower curtain, don't you know) and was surrounded by a sea of glass shards, trapping him in the tub, cutting through the shoe of one of the paramedics, who required immediate aid. (Yes, he was an actor and a writer and the story didn't end there, but my version does.) Point is, just translate it and it makes sense.

People might not know here if they haven't watched recently, but in wrestling it's now a common thing to show on TV images or video from the hospital when a wrestler needs to get stitches or surgery for a real injury, pre-op or post-op, including the stitches etc. Adds a new layer to the reality TV aspect.

Sometimes they even do documentary specials for the online network heh
