I picked up 5 films in the sale today:

The Car (with booklet)
Blood Feast (no booklet)

Baron Blood
Black Sabbath
(reissues without booklets)
Black Sunday

I already own the 3 disc editions of the Bava films, but I've been wanting to update them to the newer artwork for sometime now. One thing that's really odd about Baron Blood though, is that there's no reversible art (the inside is plain white). Does anyone else have a copy like this? It's the only Arrow release I've come across without reversible artwork.

I've been finding it really hard to keep up with Arrow the last six months, not to mention all the other labels.

So sales like this are a Godsend

So yeah I ordered the titles I said I'd order at about half 10 this morning (did check at about 6am but they hadn't triggered the multibuy yet). So went for Animal Factory, Psycho II, Cohen & Tate, Pulp, and another copy of The City of the Dead (I already have this but checking to see if I get a booklet copy this time, otherwise I'll return).

Not that fussed I bought Don't Torture a Duckling for about a tenner 'cause I did still get the slipcover/booklet (same with Deranged actually), but kinda bummed about Kill Baby Kill being on offer so soon (and slightly less so but The Incredible Shrinking Man and A Fish Called Wanda, but only 'cause I haven't watched them yet).

Anyway, these are all new to the sale and in my opinion, absolute must-haves:

The Thing
To Live and Die in L.A.
The Day of the Jackal
Ronin
The Incredible Shrinking Man
Don't Torture a Duckling
Kill, Baby...Kill!
A Fish Called Wanda
The City of the Dead

May go in for another five. Kinda thinking J.D's Revenge, Hounds of Love, Willie Dynamite, The Climber and either Phenomena (reissue), Black Sabbath (reissue) or The Incredible Melting Man (no booklet). Are any of those particularly bad decisions?

I don't think any of us will be getting a booklet with The City of the Dead now. Pretty sure this is the 2nd pressing.

What's the situation with the Argento, Fulci and Bava titles in the sale? Are any of those likely to get new, updated releases any time soon? Or should I just buy up the ones on offer now? I've held off on buying them in the past since I've seen them all, but I'm pretty caught up on what I want to own from Arrow at the moment which leaves me with their stuff.

Arrow should do a blu-ray to Making Contact (aka Joey) (1985) with both cuts.

Shame The Bird with the Crystal Plumage isn't included, not sure if it's too new, Hounds of Love was released a couple of weeks before it.

I traveled to the nearest HMV this afternoon. Got there around 12.30pm, couldn't see an Arrow special sale section until I located it near the back of the store, and an HMV employee was adding titles. I had the inconvenience of having to wait for her to add more to the shelves and I had to move around her while grabbing BDs and putting them back on different shelves and upside-down. I was fuming.

(She did let me look inside her box of BDs before she stacked them, though).

In my rage, I picked up the following:

Don't Torture a Duckling
Matinee
The City of the Dead
Wolf Guy
Phenomena

The first two had booklets. I also picked up Hammer Volume Two: Criminal Intent, which I thought was apt, as the treatment I received in HMV was nothing short of criminal.

Picked up 5 in-store this morning, all appear to have booklets but i haven't opened them yet to double check -

Don't Torture a Duckling
The Slayer
A Fish Called Wanda
Cohen & Tate
Pulp

Ordered Psycho 2, The Car and Kill, Baby...Kill! online as the didn't have the first 2 of these in-store.

Those 8 were all on my wanted list but was hoping for 52 Pick-up, Cop Vs Thugs Mad House and Blind Woman's Curse but they do sometimes add more titles mid-sale so maybe. Most of the other Arrow stuff i want is Academy titles other than these.
