Nice, I love this gun. It gets crazy good as you level up. Only wish it carried more ammo like the regular machine guns. Do you score more possible items on during a public event when you do it as part of a fire team? The few times I have done them I felt like I got a better pay out.

The Cryptarch finally gave me something for my class from an engram. It is pretty cool looking helmet. Now if I could just find a pair of legendary boots I would be good to go.



I also found a rare ship in an engram earlier in the week.

We did this "Prevent Vex Sacrifices" event in Venus that got insane. Like a dozen or more waves of Goblins/Hobs/Minotaur mix that landed in groups of 6+. Never seen one so epic. There were a lot of people there, so maybe that's why. I found 2 blues and 1 purple drop off that event.

I just completed that public event too. Was awesome. Got 2 blue engrams I think from that.

I'm just still cooling off of Destiny. Played today to do Nightfall and did a mid difficulty weekly, which bizzarely was more harder than the Nightfall because my Ice Breakers damage wasn't boosted.

I wondered whether I should delete a char and min/max the Raid then delete my char, but at this point, seems like I should just wait till new games release in November to play.

Dang, that Icebreaker can do some nasty damage. Did a vanguard raid and it was causing huge damage on the tank.

Icebreaker is so good for pve, just use it on everything with no regard for ammo bought 3 of them.

For pvp I still like my vault sniper for the faster RoF.

Yeah. I leveled a Titan to 26 instead of making another Warlock. Destiny is wearing thin. She's a total *****. Third raid yielded only ascendant material and a stinking Comedian shotgun. It's my third Comedian. I'll never get to level 30 at that rate. First night in a while I'm doing something else.

And I need to add that matchmaking in Iron Banner is just as screwed as the regular crucible. On a good team, I have gotten a k/d of more than 9. At other times, 0.29. I'm am not 9 good, and I don't 0.29 suck. And there is no reason that a level 28 should not be able to melee kill a level 12 in a single hit. 12's should be completely outclassed in this event, given the level scaling in the game.

Got invited to a raid today, but didn't have the time to play for much longer. Maybe next time. It's the only aspect of the game I haven't tried yet.

Took a chance and bought an exotic engram from Xur and got another Hunter helmet. What does it yield if I dismantle it?

I just may give up on that 25 kil/d bounty if I don't see any results this week. I don't mind playing PvP just to play but when I really have to score on those kills then it takes the fun out of it.

I get quite a few of them when I decrypt rare engrams. I also get a lot of Mote of Light from rares. At least it's better than weapons I won't use.

Any idea why I'm all of sudden locked out of most of the items on the menu on the left? The only thing it will let me do is the daily heroic. All the other items are locked and it says Requirement Not Met when I hover over them. If I go to the crucible, all of those are locked as well.

IMO the level system in the entire game is missed up not just the Iron Banner. There is no reason any of my level 20+ characters should be taking massive damage from level 2-6 enemies when replaying campaign missions.

I still need to jump into some of these raids. I have been avoiding them because my Hunter is right at a 27.

Doing some searching, I found a post on gamefaqs and the PS forums that says it isn't recognizing that people have PS+ for some reason (not happening for everyone though).

Yeah, after checking the rest, all my strikes are locked as well as the raid on Venus. Wonder what is up with that? Anyway, thanks for the info. At least I know I'm not alone.

It's because the PSN servers are screwed up thanks to some unscheduled downtime. Hopefully it's sony beefing up servers to get Driveclub actually working and in prep for firmware 2.0, it's going to be down for 7 hours on Monday too.

Thanks for the info and yeah, I just noticed I'm having some PSN issues as well. I can see my friends online but the What's New part of the UI and the overview stuff for games when they're selected aren't loading either.
