I'm as sensitive to animal cruelty as the next guy, but now people are complaining about treatment of non-existent evil alien creatures? Really?

The end of the movie did say no raccoons or trees had been hurt in the making of it but nothing about those cgi bug creatures.

CGI or not, it's still animal cruelty, and playing that for laughs in this day and age is just insensitive, inappropriate, mean and careless, and I can't really say I can sympathize with a main character who acts that way.

How did you feel about this scene?

Because killing a helpless non-threatening animal is EXACTLY the same as defending yourself from vicious creatures without really harming them .

Yeah, that's why I'll never watch Aliens again. The way they slaughtered those poor Xenomorphs made me wanna puke.

I know, I know. But the fact it was who it was left a bad taste...

And all the other ones weren't this bad. The Thor 2 and Captain America 2 scenes weren't earth shattering but they were a nice little bonus. This was just insulting especially considering this is the last stop before Avengers 2.

Not a HUGE deal, it was just a poor last image to go out on after such a great film.
