Plus I didn't like the idea of not having similar packaging for the three films in the Nolan Bat-Saga.

Only watched half of it so far, so I can't offer a full opinion of the whole film... but I have to say it's probably the most entertaining of the three films for me so far. I had expected this film to make me appreciate Dark Knight more, since not caring for TDK is what made me reevaluate Batman Begins and enjoy it more. But I think the opposite thing is happening here. It's actually making me dislike the previous two chapters more.

It helps that unlike The Joker, who I think was already done fantastic in previous films, tv shows, and cartoons,... it's a villain who got the worst treatment of any of them from the last series of Batman films. Even though I would have liked to have seen the Venom aspect of Bane, at least he wasn't a lumbering brainless goon like in Batman & Robin. Now if only you didn't need the subtitles turned on occasionally to understand what he's saying.
Heath Ledger played the best Joker ever. Fact.

Already have Begins and TDK...no need for the trilogy box set. Going down the street later to Target to pick up TDKR.

I can almost sense the collectors rushing to Target and staring with furrowed brows at the digibooks.

"I think this is... Wait, hold on, maybe this one? Hell, I'll get a handful, just to be safe."

I couldn't see anywhere easy to cancel a WBShop order so I kept it once I noticed it was sold out and it will be nice to have a standard case version to keep my watching copy of the film in. I have not received a shipment notification yet, but I should have a copy of this coming eventually. Not a very good deal for $29.99, but my overcrowded trinket collection obviously needed some new additions.
Damn i had no idea about this, or i would have bit at 30. Those figures actually look pretty cool. Beats the pants off of the dumb best buy figurines.

Definitely didn't keep me interested for every second like TDK did but TDKR has an even better ending than i could have imagined.

Looking forward to getting my blu today.

Argghhh!!! Too many of everything!
Well, in my case, I'm forcing myself not to buy the trilogy because of the upcoming UCE. But if I were going to (oh no), I'd just get the regular one, because I've got the exclusive Best Buy content on the steelbook.

I need to stay out of this thread before I up my count to 3.

I swear it is true. I sat there and stared at them to make sure. Im holding it in my hand now and I see Batman. Tilt it to the side and there is Bane. I prefer that one but there werent that many at the Target I went to at 8am today.

I would say they had a about 30 to 40 of them I think. I saw the ones in the containers and talked with the guys that were putting them out to sell.

It's really just a matter of preference.

I bought the Batcowl because it was limited and I have the Badpod from The Dark Knight.

I bought the Best Buy Steelbook because I have the other two Best Buy steelbooks.

In other words, I'm a glutton, a completist, and couldn't possibly decide between the two.

Also, unrelated, but that FYE Exclusive poster is freaking awesome. I've been on the lookout for a theater sized poster for Rises (not sure if this one is 27x40 exactly), but damn, that would be the one I'd pick.

I've got the theater version of the hardly used Batman face/Joker cards from The Dark Knight. One of my favorite movie posters ever.

Amazon indicates that it's Region A/1, but outside of that, I'm not sure. They're often wrong. Someone that has the trilogy would have to confirm.
