So I see that MoviePass is covering a local screening of Persona tonight, that's mighty nice of them.

I'm super super super excited that Landmark is now accepting MoviePass. My biggest confusion about the article though, is

Every Landmark theater around me are old, run down buildings with the smallest screens, and most uncomfortable chairs ever. Definitely the last theaters around to ever even think about offering e-tickeing or reserved seating.

Hmmm... mine here in Denver is actually super nice! Not reclining chairs but nice, and free popcorn and Soda... finally having an e-ticketing option could make me want to go their more! nice!

Mayan Theater:

3 auditoriums. Large main floor that has seating all on the same plane. Not stadium. Flat ground so heads definitely get in the way. Two upstairs theaters are the opposite. EXTREME stadium seating. Super super steep steps, no leg room (I have 27" inseam). TINY screens.

Chez Artiste

Located inside a stripmall/shopping center. Right next to a grocery store. Once again, 3 screens. All relatively small. Seating slops ever so slightly down.

Esquire

Super old theater. Once again, 3 screens. 1 main auditorium (pictured above) on the ground floor, with 2 more being upstairs. Small screens. Uncomfortable chairs.

Maybe Landmark theaters are different in other regions...but here, they're all of the super old, run down movie theaters, that just happen to show all of the best movies.

I just checked the app on my IPhone and I already see two of the three Landmark Theatres in my city among the list of theaters that I can check in. I am currently using the old version of the IOS app.

Yea they have those in town as well but the one near me wasn't a repurchased theater that was bought by landmark like those ones. It was built by landmark, so it is a newer and nicer.

On reddit, they are saying that if you are using Android, you might need to clear the app cache to see the new theaters:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Go to Apps/Applications.
3. Find the MoviePass App.
4. Choose Storage.
5. Clear Data

Landmark now shows up in the app for me. Awesome that they added this theater. Just one location in my area, but it’s close to me. All of thier current movies aren’t playing at any other theaters.

I hope they add iPic Theaters as well.

And another interesting thing... our landmark theater only allows for seat selection if you purchase a VIP ticket... so not sure what is changing or if moviepass will allow the VIP seats to be purchased? hmmm very interesting

I also just realized we are both in Denver... the nice landmark location is greenwood village, it looks like those older theaters have been added to the app, but landmark green village has not... I am starting to think that maybe that location won't be added...

I always forget that Greenwood Village is a Landmark Theater, because it plays the same exact films that every other AMC and Regal theater does in town. When I think of Landmark, I think of movies that aren't being shown anywhere else (except maybe SIE or Drafthouse). Currently: Isle of Dogs, The Death of Stalin, Foxtrot, Flower.

Meanwhile, Greenwood Village is showing Tomb Raider, A Wrinkle in Time, Red Sparrow, Black Panther, etc. My brain doesn't even register that as a Landmark theater, because it's not what Landmark is known for.

Well bad news... it is in the app now... but you can't buy any tickets because it says all showings are premium showings.....
