First time viewing the theatrical cut. Works better than the extended cut. Can't believe they removed Mary Elizabeth Winstead from the latter. She should have been the co-star throughout the entire film, but I'll take what I can get. It's a broken movie, but far better than it ever gets credit for.

Funny thing is, of the problems I have with the movie, he's not on that list at all.

Though my #1 complaint has to do with the fact that he's there to begin with. They spent the last movie setting up Lucy as John's successor, and she should have been in Jack's place. We've had nothing but John paired with male sidekicks, and even though I had no problem with Courtney, I like Winstead a lot more. Pushing her off to the side (or out of the movie entirely, in the case of the extended cut) is criminal.
