Apple’s Monsterverse series has been shooting in spatial video format for when the Vision Pro headset is launched.

I understand. I initially said I would only get one if they released a new Elder Scrolls or Fallout game since Microsoft now owns Bethesda studios, but Starfield is a brand new universe created by the same people. It's the first new universe create by them in 25 years.

Like Cheez said, probably an elaborate special edition would cost that much.

I must have heard him wrong as, for games, he only buys physical releases on the NINTENDO SWITCH... For PC, I think he only buys off of STEAM, and I can't imagine the Canadian price to be that crazy..

Anyways, I know he's super excited for the game...

I don’t blame him, it looks ace. Kind of pissed PS5 is not getting it.

Will just have to be patient for next Fallout.

That's a lot for just the base game but if you want everything lately some games cost a lot more than that.
There's games that have 3 season passes and there's still DLC coming out that isn't included.

I wouldn't assume that the next Fallout will come to PlayStation either. And I highly doubt that it'll be playable off the disc regardless of platform given Microsoft's recent track record.

OK.. so just caught up with my son. For his $130 he's getting 5 days early access, some soundtrack files etc, and the future DLC when it becomes available.

It must be a worth it, because getting him to spend money is like pulling teeth. He pinches a penny so hard, the crown slides off the queen's head..

$60 for a Video Game is too much for me and that's double.

... I guess there's no demo or maybe there is and he knows it's awesome.

I would certainly go with the base game and no early access but you know things are just more expensive these days.
There's a 1000 planets to explore so it's really only $0.13/planet when you think about it.

I feel the same way but it's funny. I'll spend $60 for a movie that even with extras will only take up 3-5 hours of my time. I waited until Elden Ring dropped down to $40 to buy it but spent over 200 hours playing. Games are a lot more bang for the buck but I prioritize movie buying.

I'll work the system and rent it on GameFly using my Game Unlocked feature (get it on day 1) and then stack my coupons like I just did with Diablo 4. Paid $42 for that one, so will do that with Starflight. That is unless i get the X-Box Series S (2023 edition). That one is digital only and will be $349 on release.

Though many stores had copies out a week early, The Super Mario Bros. Movie and John Wick: Chapter 4 officially were released June 13, and retailers offered a slew of exclusives for them. Unfortunately for shoppers who didn’t preorder them well in advance, most of the exclusive editions were already sold out.

Watched the Blu-ray version of John Wick 4 last night and the video was pure eye candy (also have the UHD Blu-ray).
