Mike glad you enjoy this LCR, I just knew it's was above and beyond the C-C100, I have herd it several time and was impressed by it's performance.

Good Morning Olivier,

Yeah I was sooo happy when I finally got my C-C100 during the spring time last year. Then when I got the LCR on Tuesday. It raised the bar even higher! I couldn't be any happier.

I'm looking at these Pangea Speaker Stands (36"). Would these hide speaker wire?

http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo...2&variation=36

It's on sale and 36" would be perfect for my C-200 surrounds.

I'm currently using Sanus 31" speaker stands from Amazon.

Just left you a comment Mike. Man I'd love to take pics during the day time. I'll probably do it Sunday or Monday.

Thanks Mike and Olivier. Yes, they do sound as good as they look. I'm kind of glad I have a little time to enjoy them before I go to work again. It won't be much longer, they had to get some extra paper work done because the Company that hired me was purchased by the Company I was working for before, so there is a little extra red tape to go through, but it won't be long now. In the mean time I'm going to take time and enjoy it.

Just seeing the constructin of both speakers you can see why, I mean it's obvious, I understand some speakers dont always look good but sound great but I refer strickly at the quality of the materials used in the construction of both is quite significant.

I am sur if take a peak inside we will also realize how much better the construction is and quality of X-over should be way better on the Energy.

This is very common even Totem Rokk back then had a midbass driver with glue that leaked like that, you see this with older vintage speaker a lot more.

That is one thing I've noticed since owning these. They are by for the best quality speakers I've ever owned, and I've owned a few.

BTW, I've probably put about 20 hours or so on this LCR. Think I can turn it up some more without doing any damage to the transducers?

Yea Steve that's always been like that. I've seen that through the years, even on car speakers I've owned.

Depends what level are you listening them to? As long as it's not extreme levels you will be fine. -20db should not be a problm it's still pretty moderate.

I've never been able to determine what my db levels are on this receiver so I don't really know at what level I've been playing them. I have the volume control switch turned up about 1/4 of the way, which quite frankly is about my average listening level. I do turn it up sometimes. It just depends on what I'm watching.
