FSU-Oklahoma has been a defense dominated but very entertaining game. Coming down to the wire with Oklahoma leading 13-6 with 10 min left.

EDIT - FSU ties it 13-13.

EDIT#2 - Amazing catch for a TD by Stills. Oklahoma leads 20-13 with 7 min left.

13-13 tie, but Florida State was helped tremendously on field position by a pair of pretty ridiculous, flat out wrong penalties against Oklahoma...a "low block" flag from a shoulder hit and a "false start" where the defense jumped first.

Looks like FSU tying the score "woke up" Oklahoma cause they just strolled down the field like they were playing Cupcake-U. 20-13 Oklahoma.

It's hard to see how Oklahoma can be so bad on Offense for that long in the second half and then follow it up with that.

Just curious, but who is your team of choice? Sooners?

Don't have one, but I live in/came from Big 12 country so am most familiar with them.

I don't know how you'd get that I'm a Sooner fan from calling their offense terrible for most of the second half.

FWIW I'm an Iowa State alum, so obviously football wasn't something I ever follow for my own college. heh

In fairness, I will admit I've always been pretty anti-Florida schools...I don't even know why. There's no rational reason for it.

From the vibe of your posts, you sounded like you were really pulling for Oklahoma, so I just assumed you were a Sooners fan. I apologize if I offended you, it wasn't my intent.

Well I'm a lifelong Floridian. Growing up I typically rooted for the Canes and to a lesser extent Gators. I always HATED the Noles. Something I just never liked about Bobby Bowden. I suppose a lot of it was his "awe shucks" attitude and the fact that the pollsters always had a habit of overrating the Noles. Good example was 2000 when Miami should have made the national title game instead of FSU. These days I'm actually starting to miss FSU as a power. Their big games against Florida and Miami aren't heated like they used to be.

Well that's it. Oklahoma beats FSU.

I don't know how much my opinion is clouded by my historical dislike of FSU. But that'd probably be where the appearance of me rooting for Oklahoma is coming from.

*EDIT* Not offended at all. I wish I went to a school where football was worth following, although we are 3-0 this year so far. I consider that smoke and mirrors.

I was quite pleased with the hits OU was dishing out tonight (glad Shaw was okay too, that was a nasty double whopper). Our defense is definitely out to knock you down. Little displeased with safety play though.

Offense production is always iffy on the road. Landry Jones can turn into a deer in the headlights on the road if things get out of hand real quick, and it almost did.

Edit: If anyone finds a gif of Stoops' reaction to that awful kick, please post it here. That was hilarious.

Holy crap, didn't realize that till you mentioned it. BYU seemingly had a pretty solid team this year and Utah not as good as recent years. Hard to believe Utah would beat them so badly. Next week you have my school UCF @ BYU. Since the preseason I figured BYU would be our toughest game of the season. We suffered a minor upset tonight losing to FIU. Going to be interesting seeing how BYU and UCF respond next week.

I'm sitting here watching Oklahoma State and Tulsa. It's only 2nd quarter, the game didn't even kick off until 12:15 am!!! There was weather delays. I've never seen anything like it before. This game won't be over until like 3 am. It's on Fox Sports Southwest if anybody wants to watch. They said if the game was cancelled they couldn't make it up. That would have really hurt Okie State later on in BCS standing by having one less game than everybody else.
