This. Iron Man 3 was the last one that had a digital copy with anything but a Blu-ray/Blue Ray 3D combo pack. IM3 had one with the Blu-ray/DVD Combo pack.

That's pretty pathetic that they can't even include an iTunes DC though.

Can you get it on Disney Movies Anywhere with the 2D version?

Well Disney isn't interested in any one retailer now that they have Disney Movies Anywhere. And the Digital copy with the 3D combo pack can be used for an iTunes version.

No. You can likely get Disney Movie Rewards point, but there isn't a DMA code with the 2D version; only the 3D combo version does.

I beg to differ. When you have an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and a Macbook, iTunes is easily the best of the "formats" for portability and quality.

Geez! Parked at my local Best Buy minutes before it opened at 10am and saw a small crowd at the doors. Was walking when they opened it. By the time I went inside, all of the ones on the upfront display were gone, and when I reached the back, I found the last one on the shelf. Judging from what I saw on other folks hands, there might've been ten copies available at the store...? Craziness.

I had considered pre-ordering it, but I'm just so anal about examining it in person to get one without dings or other damage. And I had to get the Steelbook because I have four other Marvel Studios blus in Steelbook already, plus Agent Carter flying over the Atlantic from Zavvi on the way. But I think I might just pre-order from now and avoid the stress.

Until they ship it and it's damaged. LOL

Default Ant-Man 2D & 3D - December 8, 2015

Iron Man 3 had three BD combos. A blue bordered BD/DVD combo pack (the edition that tends to receive the deep discounts), a gold bordered BD/DVD/DC combo pack (with a higher MSRP, and rarely available in retail prices after its first year), and the 3D BD/2D BD/DVD/DC combo (with the highest MSRP).

In 2014, Disney began simplifying its editions by including a DC in nearly all new North American Disney label BD releases (except for Ghibli films, which Disney doesn't have digital rights to). Also, Disney has halted NA 3D BD releases for new films (except for Pixar and Marvel).

Concurrent to Disney's BD edition simplification, Marvel then dropped DVDs from all new BD releases and only includes DCs with the 3D BD combos.

Thank you for clarifying their "policy". In the future, I will purchase the 3D edition and just sell the 3D disc. That way I can get my iTunes DC.

Are there any other exclusives in the US besides the Best Buy steelbook or the Target bonus content?

I love the translucent black case that came with this. Wish this color of case was more common. It'd look great on stuff like the Hannibal seasons.

Since the theme is red (Iron Man) versus blue (Captain America). There's only one obvious solution.

[Show spoiler]Purple.

- Walmart guarantees to be the lowest prices, so you don't necessarily have to provide anything
- Walmart carries weekly ads up front, usually near the service desk in a binder of all the competing stores (or they should; if your Walmart doesn't, someone there is not doing their job properly, which would fall on the CSM).
- Most cashiers are just too lazy to go get these ads (as it'll hold up their line to do so) and/or cashiers are just oblivious they carry them in the first place.

When I went to price match on Black Friday, the cashier gave me trouble that she wouldn't (not couldn't) price match because the movie I was getting (Jurassic World) didn't have a Black Friday "promo" sticker like all of their movies they had on sale up front did. I argued there's no promo sticker because it's not part of their sale of $2 or whatever movies they had up front at the store, but that Walmart's Black Friday ad had it listed for $9.96. She had an ad at her station, but, unfortunately, it wasn't listed in the physical ad, unless she lost one of the pages (lol). She was giving me major attitude at this point, so I said, fine it was on sale at Best Buy for $9.99, she asked for the ad and I told her I didn't have it, which I did, on my phone, but screw helping her. She then tried arguing she wouldn't price match without an ad so I told her to go grab it then, knowing the ads were near Customer Service. You would have thought I asked her to go scrub toilets, because having to walk not even 10 yards to where the binders were at was such a huge inconvenience for her... to do her job. She came back, dropped the ad on the counter and mumbled "I wish we didn't price match". I remarked "well you do, there's Jurassic World right there. For $9.99. Give me the discount and quit wasting my time". I saw her this morning, when buying Ant-Man, but luckily her register had several people and another, nicer lady's register was open... and she didn't even ask to see an ad when I price matched.

There are 3 Walmart's near me, and they're all like this. If you know you're in the right 100%, just don't back down. Their website on the other hand, is the one that wont price match other stores.
in general I just don't have the patience to argue, or wait 20 minutes while they go find a manager or an ad or whatever (and most speak very broken English, which makes things more difficult). Just not worth the hassle unless the money I'd be saving by PMing another store is like $10+. The only reason I'd be trying to PM at Walmart anyway is because they'd be the only ones still selling a certain movie with a slipcover. No slip is worth my sanity.

Let me preface by saying Amazon has always done right by me and their customer service has always been exemplary but WTH Amazon!?

I waited to buy Ant-man until they price matched BB @ $19.99. It was on the front page of this site at that price and in my wish list at that price at my lunchtime. I put it in my cart and right as I was about to hit finalize the transaction it jumped to $24.99 and disappeared from this site at the same time. Luckily BB actually had copies and I also got Godzilla 3D with a slip for $12.99. So BB wins today.

And yesterday Amazon had that Fringe sale for two hours or whatever. I had to ***** and moan but got them to adjust the purchase price of $46.99 I paid 5 days earlier and poof it was gone immediately after I hung up with them. Thank you for the adjustment but what is up Amazon?

Amazon rarely goes out of its way to have the lowest new release price available unless a major online competitor has the lowest price and is in stock.

Unfortunately, as BestBuy.com is not taking any orders (not even for pickup) for Ant Man 3D at this time, it means Amazon only has to match target.com's price of $24.99 for now.

If the code was that important to you, why didn't you spend the extra $2 to get the release that includes the code?
