If not, you know what that means...

Some of the really hardcore fans have the same attitude to failure as that nice Mr Blofeld who runs that cat sanctuary in that dormant volcano down the road.

Just received an email saying they've delayed to December 13th, 2021.

Does this happen often with 88 Films' releases?

So many delays from across the studios. I think it's just a general manufacturing issue due to COVID.

Having never seen this, though I quite enjoyed AOG2, where do people think it ranks in the Jackie pantheon?

It is classic, mid-80's Jackie. It's superb.

Overnight got emails from Amazon that push back the release date on virtually all 88 Films titles for the remainder of the year. Most got pushed 1 to 1.5 months later.

It is in the top-tier so far as the movie goes, and the incident of Jackie having nearly killed himself doing a stunt which comes at the film's beginning, makes it more special for JC fans.

A lot of blu ray releases are being delayed Films at Home on youtube did an informative video on the subject basically all the major studios have consolidated production to cut costs and with covid pressing the quantities for release is taking an extra month in most cases.

Personally, I'm glad for the push back. Of course, it would be nice if everything could be released at once with no possibility of anything being limited. But, too much to choose from all at once. Gives one a bit longer to save up.

Opinions may vary, but I'd rank Operation Condor above the first Amour of God. Neither cracked my top ten favorite Chan films, but they're both in my top 20. So both are worth owning.

I'm not super hot on either Armour of God movies (they rank lower in my own rankings), but I still consider them essential and worth owning. The stunt work in both is unparalleled.

When i was younger AOG was in my top 5, but also i had seen less of his films in the early 90s, the stunt-work was unlike alot of stuff i had never seen at the time. With hindsight and ability to rate against more of his other films, i would still rate it very good and worth owning imo. I have it around 15th out of the 50 JC films i rate and keep.
