I second Kick ass 2, but the one I have really been waiting for is:

Spaceballs 2: The Search for more money!

..............It will never happen though......

A couple others that I'd like to see:

Darkness - A sequel to Sunshine - They didn't succeed at the end of Sunshine and now people are trying to find ways to survive as the sun dies.

Earth - A sequel to Moon - What happens when Sam makes it back to earth.

The Last Starfighter - A remake with new technology & better acting.
Star League - a sequel to the Last Starfighter taking place generations after the original and dealing with a new civil war that tear apart the star league that alex rebuilt.

Heroes - The TV series really left things hanging. I'd like to see a movie that wraps up the series...... killing off many of the characters and ending with one of the bleak futures that were portrayed in the series.

Instead of these we will get a sequel to Legend.

They will make it a comedy and Tom Cruise will not return. Instead the main character will be Neil Patrick Harris who will fight Darkness (Tim Curry) to save a magical cow.

It will be called: Legend-dairy.

Madmartigan: "Ooh, I'm really scared. No! Don't! There's a- a peck here with an acorn pointed at me!"
Willow: "Don't call me a peck!"
Madmartigan: "Oh, I'm sorry! Peck! Peck! Peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck, peck!"

I'd also like to see a Willow 2 (if Kilmer slims down). I heard there were books that were sequels - but I also heard they stunk.

District 9.

"Three years, I promise..."

I really believed that was hinting at something three years ago!

Let's see....... Mark Hamill is 60.
Harrison Ford is 70.
Carrie Fisher is 55.
George Lucas is 68.

so, in another 25 years..... maybe Lucas will be dead or very senile and they will make Star Wars 7-9 with the original cast in their late 80's and early 90's....

Actually it'd have to go further than Star Wars 7-9, they'd have to go up to 12 There were plans for 12 films.

Honestly the way hollywood is today, I don't think there is any movie completely off the market not to get a sequel at some point.

I just realized..........I don't want anymore Star Wars movies........

I started thinking of Jar Jars Binks and how Lucas has been getting progressively worse in decision making .......... Star Wars 12: The Search for Depends.
Carrie Fischer will be over 100 and Lucas will bring back the metal bikini and ruin my childhood further.

Have no fear. George is effectively retired now, as I understand it. He's also said he's definitely done with the SW movies.

I don't think we'll see an Incredibles 2, because I think Brad Bird feels he pretty much did what he set out to do with the first movie. Shame, because I'd really LOVE to see a sequel to that. And I'll take any and all continuations of the Firefly universe - sequels, prequels, whatever. Still so much story to tell there. While we're on Whedon, I'd love to see a follow-up to Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, but it took a writer's strike to get all that talent together in the first place, and given how in demand they all are, I think it'll be next to impossible to get Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion, and Neil Patrick Harris in the same room together for a long time to come.

The ones I'm most worried about are the remainder of the Narnia series, which I'd dearly love to see finished. I was especially worried because Silver Chair and Horse and His Boy, which come next in the series, are by far the weakest books, and looked like franchise killers for sure. However, I've heard that if they do make the next one, it'll be Magician's Nephew, not Silver Chair. Much as I dislike Chair, I think it's a mistake not to film it next, because Will Poulter, who did such a great job playing Eustace in Dawn Treader, will be too old to film Silver Chair and Last Battle, if they eventually get around to them (were it my decision, and given unlimited funds, I'd film Silver Chair and Last Battle concurrently, then film Horse and Nephew, but release them in the book order). And it's not even a definite that they're going to do another one at all, so who knows?

I actually thought Dawn Treader was the most enjoyable so far (it was my favorite of the books, so that might be influencing me) and it would be a shame to see the series end prematurely. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
They are working on a sequel to Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Whedon has already written most of the new songs. It is supposed to start filming Spring 2013.
