Why won't they let Denard Robinson set some records???

3 yards short of 200, and they refuse to allow him to try to get it.... He was very close last week, and they yanked him.

EDIT:
And it's official...

Denard Robinson rushes for 198 last week, and 199 this week.

You wouldn't even know that 200+ rushing games by QBs were rare

Miami/Kansas State is delayed due to thunderstorms. Hopefully we can kick it off soon! Go 'Canes!!!

Notre Dame could easily be 4-0 if they weren't a turnover machine the first two games. I do think they have the right coach in there now, but I guarantee you that the passionate Notre Dame fan base will not like a 7-5 campaign.

Edit - Holy creepy avatar Chordata!

A hell of a way to lose a game. What a heartbreaker.

LSU might be the best team in their nation, but they have to battle through their conference schedule yet. A mid tier SEC team is better than a lot of other teams in the top end of their conferences. Jarrett Lee has played outstanding to this point, I didn't see that coming.

Bama looks amazing if McCarron is on.

Agreed about the SEC, but my wife and I had to laugh this morning when we heard Mark May say Florida is his #4 team in the country. They've played nobody. Georgia Tech (who I hate as much as Florida) and Clemson, just to name 2, have far superior resumes.

Now if Florida can somehow survive the next 2 weeks against Bama and LSU, I'll eat my words. Here's hoping they fail miserably.

Yeah that scares me about Georgia. Ole Miss is clearly terrible and Georgia couldn't put them away. The stud kicker missed 3 FGs -- 5 misses on the young season, including one against South Carolina that would've tied up the game.

Georgia allowed 2 TDs, though -- 1 on a reverse kickoff return, 1 on a double-reverse pass. Against South Carolina, it allowed 1 on a fake punt, 1 on a fumble recovery, and 1 on an INT.

Maybe their defense isn't as bad as the final scores show.

Believe it or not FSU did NOT cover the point spread for tonight's game. The Noles were 53.5 point favorites and won by 52.
Hey atleast they improved lols

Florida is vastly better than last year, and I think they have the potential to win a lot of games. But I'm still not convinced about Brantley. He just doesn't seem to be a leader. Next week against Alabama will tell us a lot about the Gators, but I think the Tide will win by a couple scores.

I know it didn't seem like it at the beginning of the season, but the Clemson @ VT game next week is going to be a good one! Clemson has laid down some quality opponents two weeks in a row, and now they get to come to Blacksburg and test their skills in a hostile environment. GO HOKIES!

What a mess of a season FSU has had so far.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/...ltiple-charges

FSU CB Greg Reid faces multiple charges

Quote:
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State cornerback and return specialist Greg Reid is in trouble again -- this time with the police.

Reid was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Monday by Tallahassee police on charges of resisting arrest and perjury.

The police report indicated Reid was trying to protect a friend from his hometown of Valdosta, Ga., who was being pursued for resisting arrest after being stopped earlier by police.

School officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Reid didn't play in Saturday's 35-30 loss at Clemson and was suspended the second game of the season for violating an unspecified team rule. Reid sat out the Clemson game with a bruised right knee he suffered in the 23-13 loss to Oklahoma on Sept. 17.

The 21-year-old led the nation in punt returns two years ago as a freshman.

Whew, my Ok State Cowboys won again. They sleepwalked through the first half and looked terrible but then came out second half and played like they normally do. They are ranked number 5 now. They have 2 very tough games coming up though, at Texas on Oct. 15 and at Missouri on Oct. 22. If they can get by both of those with W's then I think they have a legit shot at being undefeated going into the OU game the last week of the season for all the marbles.

They play those cupcakes teams (at least 3 of them), every single year. This year happens to be the 1 in 20 where the stars aligned to get them tough games against LSU and Alabama. That matchup against FSU no longer looks difficult.

Florida will lose a good 3 or 4 games. They've only looked good so far thanks to those cupcakes. Bama and LSU are going to demolish them.

It's a shame Urban Meyer is likely headed to Ohio State next year, he's an excellent in studio analyst and color announcer during games. With his heart problems, it'd probably be in his best interest to stay away from coaching for a few years. Another ABC/ESPN employee I like a lot is Brian Griese, he covers a lot of the Miami games and does a great job.
