I grew up in Columbus and have been a fan for years. I took my daughter to her first Buckeye game when they played Akron. But, that was a lifetime ago.

The way the Bucks are playing now just seals the deal that Fickell won't be back after this season. It's not going to be a pretty season.

Anyone catch this ridiculous cheap shot delivered by Illinois LB Jonathan Brown today? He kneed the guy right in the groin in full view of the ref. Somehow he didn't get ejected.

oh, I know. I knew this season was going to be a wash, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. I certainly don't condone what they did and feel they got what they deserved and more. I just want to be able to put this behind us and move on. I have a feeling it will be many years until the Bucks are contenders again.

I'd really like to believe the Urban Meyer rumors, but it just sounds too good to be true. I just hope they can find someone that can rebuild their program to compete again.

and pryor's suspension is being upheld by the nfl.

@ least the last time i looked.

i think that kid is gonna be as big of a bust as maurice clarett.

I always considered Pryor nothing more than a college QB. I wouldn't even consider him a bust at this point since nobody except for Al Davis expects him to be a good NFL QB.

Oh, believe me! He is much safer in Oakland than Columbus right now. I wouldn't even be caught dead in Columbus with a Pryor jersey and I'm from there!!

It's not too good to be true. Meyer is an Ohio guy and I'd actually be surprised if he's not Ohio St.'s next coach. And if he is you can be sure Ohio St. will win another national title or two under him.

Tell that to Al Davis who had to give up a 3rd round pick for that bum to get him in the supplemental. Then again Davis picked JaMarcus Russell #1 overall, so it's not his worst decision by a mile.

There's a part of me that is hopeful, because of his connection with Ohio and the Bucks. I know it's possible, just not sure it is probable. If he is named the next head coach, I'll definitely be excited. I just want confirmation before I get my hopes too high.

I know he has a house in Columbus and I even heard that his former OC from Florida is also in Columbus. so, who knows?

Ya, Florida's backup QB Driskel is getting hammered as expected. Another Florida turnover. Unless Brantley's ankle injury isn't as as bad as it looked the Gators are totally screwed next week @ LSU.

Keep an eye on Trent Richardson in the Heisman race. He cracked 170 yards against Florida tonight and literally dragged a half dozen Florida lineman for many extra yards on a few plays.

These 8pm games between Florida-Alabama and Nebraska-Wisconsin were supposed to be hard fought, close games. Both ended up blowouts.
