The biggest SEC matchup is November 5 - LSU @ Alabama.
Brantley has a high ankle sprain - he's likely out this weekend against LSU. Brutal month of October for Florida as the stars have finally aligned.

This reminds me of the Oregon "12-0" T-shirts that they had made up last season. It's too bad that they had to play a 13th game.

Shirts like these are a bit premature and usually come back to haunt the team that promotes them, IMO.

Illinois suspended Brown for the next game. I assume if Illinois hadn't suspended him the Big 10 would have. Fortunately for Illinois their next game is against Indiana.

The reality of it is, stuff like this happens in football all of the time. Unfortunately for Brown, the camera picked it up. I've heard stories of what happens to players when they're on the bottom of a pile.

It does happen a lot. I don't know what he was thinking. He stopped and looked around (seeing 3 refs all looking his way) and still did it. That's the kind of thing you do at the end of a play in a dogpile. Not with cameras and refs on you.

Brantley is confirmed out for the LSU game. That game in Death Valley should be a bloodbath. Florida's freshman Driskil was the #1 ranked QB in the nation out of high school in 2011, but as the Alabama-Florida game showed he clearly isn't ready to start for the Gators.

Bama had a four point spread in both their game against Arkansas and against Florida. They blew the spread out of the water in both games. This sets them up very well for going against LSU in a couple of weeks. If they beat LSU... I think a national championship is all but guarunteed.

That's actually good to hear. Looking at the way he fell on that leg... it looked like it could have been a very bad career ending knee injury. I'm glad it is not as bad as it looked.

Yeah I agree, I thought it was an ACL (MCL at worst) and that he was done for the year. I loathe Florida but like Brantley and hope he rebounds ok...just not against Georgia.

I'll bet Oklahoma wins by >2 TD's. Texas is improved over last year but they won't compete with Oklahoma.

Exact opposite hope over here.

I couldn't disagree more. Our defense will definitely keep Oklahoma's score lower than what they're used to putting up. Look at how low FSU kept them and we're definitely a better team and a better defense than that. I can't guarantee that Texas wins (though I can hope), but I can guarantee that Oklahoma won't put up 50-60 points and if they do win I don't think it'll be by more than ten.

I'm surprised the Red River Rivalry isn't the big primetime game tonight. That would be a hell of a environment under the lights in Dallas.

The game I'm obviously waiting on is Miami/Virginia Tech, we need a big win really bad. Go 'Canes!

I've NEVER seen this game played at night. As far as I can remember (to the 1970's), it's always been played during daylight hours. But to address your point, I really don't know why they haven't changed it to nighttime, though.

Well... it's 41-10 Oklahoma early in the 3rd.
