Either eBay (generally in used condition) or you can use your zip to find a dealer near you on the main website.

Well guys, I think we have a New Player in town and it's K-Scape. Their Link has been added here on Blu-ray.com as a Digital Provider. They are the Gold Standard in Digital Downloads. I have always admired them, and I did setup a Home Server along the same lines. The only draw back is they are pretty expensive.

They have been around for ages. If you go down that route, you might as well buy the Bluray or 4K disc.

Yes K-Scape has been around a long time, and now it seems they are trying to go Mainstream but their equipment is still very expensive. Their Strato 4K Movie Player cost $4500, with 6TB of Storage. Then you can download their Movies, which are not priced bad. So the initial setup would be costly, but if you want top quality Movies just like Disc, this is the route you take. Put this Strato on your Network, then you have that Media Server I was talking about to Stream your Digital Movie Collection.

People complain about iTunes being a closed garden but is their anyway to play Microsoft videos on an iPhone or mac laptop? I can't even seem to get Microsoft video to work right even on my old pc. Anyway this is the problem I am dealing with personally right now but it does make me think about digitals reliablity.

With discs their seems to be uniformity and you can reliably get your movies to play but with digital reliablity seems to be just all over the place. I can't get Microsoft to play any of my videos on my mac or iPhone. I cant download hd Vudu videos on my iPad (along with many other bugs) and apple has a memory glitch when its used for streaming which wastes massive amounts of memory on a device till its rebooted. The only digital service that seems to work properly most of the time without some noticeable glitch or missing basic feature would be Netflix.

When you say Microsoft Videos what are you talking about? You are talking about two different Platforms, that's why you are either on the PC side or on the Apple side. So you have to pick sides, and stay on one side or the other. I say UV and either Netflix or Amazon, and let the Apple Clones crash and burn!

Respectfully disagree. I find iTunes to be better than Vudu.

Like I said, you have to pick a side, and you picked iTunes. I just think Apple is very restrictive and proprietary, but it does have a lot of Followers. Before I had my Sony UHD TV I thought Vudu was the primary UV Provider, but I was wrong there are many Providers, just no iTunes. You guys are also waiting on 4K, and will have to get the Apple 4K TV Box. No STB is needed anymore with the right UHD TV. I know Steve Jobs wanted an Apple HDTV, but he wasn't given time to accomplish this. I'm sure you Apple Guys will just keep waiting!

That's why I'm holding off redeeming the digital HD codes from my 4k discs. I'm hoping they'll redeem in 4k in iTunes should a 4k ATV be announced.

UHD redemption for UV titles is a complex disaster. The studios used to require code redemption on their sites before UV (I have a few on sonypicturesstore.com) and they wasted no time defecting from UV and requiring UHD redemption on their sites.

The digital HD codes you have in your 4k movies are for 1080p versions, not 4k. I wouldn't hold off redeeming them.

Well in my experience, I had less issues with iTunes on an Apple TV than Vudu on various devices. I recently purchased a Sony BDP-S6700 Blu-ray player and it's getting digital artifacting frequent during streaming from Vudu. I tried another HDMI cable and different video settings and that did nothing for the digital artifacting. It's not a defective Blu-ray player because playing a Blu-ray on it or streaming Netflix on it does not get the digital artifacting and I tried another of the same Blu-ray player with Vudu about a month ago and it had the same issue with the digital artifacting in Vudu. Also my TV's Vudu app just randomly quits on me and so does the Vudu app on my XBox One but less frequently. Roku Ultra gave me chirping audio issues in the Netflix and Vudu apps, no matter what the audio settings, so I could not enjoy using Vudu on that device either. I bought an Apple TV 4 and now mainly make my digital purchases through iTunes or redeem iTunes codes. Also redeeming an iTunes code is less of a hassle than redeeming a Vudu code sometimes, because sometimes you can't redeem a UV code through Vudu, and sometimes I had to make a new account with a studio to redeem a UV code, for example, I had to create a Sony Pictures account to redeem The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons UV codes as they were not redeemable through Vudu and I also had to create a Paramount Movies account to redeem Zoolander, and I had to create a Flixster account to redeem a UV code in the past that I could not redeem through Vudu. Also when I redeemed Mr. Deeds Goes to Town HD UV code through Vudu I only got the SD version because Vudu only had the SD version and my UV account shows that I only have viewing rights to the SD version even though the code slip said Digital HD. UV is a mess in my opinion. I find Vudu a little better in image quality overall than iTunes but I find the experience not as good as iTunes on an Apple TV 4.

Well you have to change your name to AppleFan, because PC's and Apples don't get along. I think it has to do with your connection, because Vudu has always been very solid for me but then I have Fiber and Hard Wired.

That's a ridiculous statement. I have Apple iPhone 7 Plus, iPad Pro 9.7, Apple Watch 2 and an Apple TV. I also have a fast gaming PC. You don't have to be so exclusive that you can't have both. Apple has a very powerful ecosystem that Android will never be able to match. The hatred of Apple is a bit ridiculous and this is coming from someone who used to be Android only.

The ironic thing is that the anti-Apple brigade is more rabid about being anti-Apple, than Apple fanboys are for being pro-Apple.

Isn't it only a matter of time until Vudu either goes out of business or converts over to some sort of paid subscription service?

...some people are going to get seriously burned at some point.
