That's exactly my point, it's one of the premier rivalries in sports. You'd think ABC would want it on at night to maximize the audience. But to the best of my knowledge it has always been a 12:00 or 3:30 game.

This game's time is not controlled by ABC, they can't buy out what time they want. I think the game being inside the fair plays into the day game too.

It's not controlled by ABC, but networks oftentimes are involved in the timing process of scheduling. I would just think that ABC would try to apply some pressure to get a primetime matchup one of these years.

What a game for Connor Shaw today, if Spurrier had benched Garcia one week earlier South Carolina would likely still be undefeated. I can see why the Ole Ball Coach raves about this kid.

Another disastrous performance for Florida St. They're about to lose to Wake Forest and drop to 2-3 after being ranked top-5 nationally early in the season.

Gators game is going as expected. They have no chance of winning at LSU, especially without Brantley.

What I'm saying is that whatever pressure they may want to apply could be completely irrelevant because of the setting of the game inside the state fair. I know networks use money to change scheduling, Boise State Senior High plays a ton of games on Friday night. But this is a special scenario.

Did FSU have a chance? I couldn't get the game to work on espn3 and I saw they had the ball within reasonable distance, but not now.

FSU scored a TD with 54 seconds left, but all it did was bring them within 5 points. They lost 35-30 to Wake. Bad day all around for Florida's big 3 programs - UF, FSU and Miami.

Oh okay I misread ESPN's gamecast thing on the front page. I thought they were about to score with 54 seconds left and it was 35-30, i.e. they had a chance to win. Thanks for clarifying. Yeah rough day for sate of Florida.

UCF hosts Marshall in an hour and a half. We've had downpours and thunderstorms here in central Florida since last night with winds of 20-30 MPH and it's expected to rain/storm through at least Monday or Tuesday. Going to be some very nasty weather conditions for tonight's game and maybe some lightning delays. I'm sure the field is already covered with several inches of water. Even by Florida standards the weather is horrendous.

Man is Miami battling, we're not as good as Virginia Tech but we are all heart. We need a stop by our defense, and I love the emotion we play with. Imagine if Jacory Harris hadn't been with Randy Shannon for three years, he's a whole different player under Coach Golden.

Jesus, yesterday was an all-out embarrassment; I honestly thought we'd do better against Oklahoma. The silver lining is that Texas is loaded with freshmen with raw talent who will only get better. I'm willing to bet in the next couple of years we're serious contenders for the NC.
