I don't understand why this movie isn't more popular. It is quite excellent and have seen it a number of times...

I refused to watch it for a very long time, because it's a patriotic movie by Emmerich, but I did catch it on TV once, and I was pleasantly surprised.
It's by far the best R. Emmerich movie.

Fired Up - A high school comedy that had a few laughs and some hot chicks but nuthin to write home about. 2.5/5 Got Em!!

Watched "Pierrot le Fou" via Netflix (had to check it out once I learned that the BD's going out of print). It's a little weird and convoluted, but still fascinating in its own right. 3.5/5, for the time being.

Adventureland 6/10
The 25th Hour 8/10

I think A Clockwork Orange is pretty crappy, but Vertigo is among Hitchcock's best (top 3, maybe top 2).

And Jimmy Stewart was awesome.

But I agree about The 25th Hour, I like how Spike Lee makes his movies endings, always good when you don't know what to expect, or mostly good...

I really liked Adventureland. Felt like a little adventure.
