The set is really nice. The one I got my bf for his early Christmas present is very cool. It was worth the $30. Hopefully the $6 one will ship as well. He may keep it sealed or give it to his mom. She loves the movie too.

I got a shipping notice this AM, too, but mine is coming via USPS. To me, all that means is that they have put the label on the box and have it ready for pickup, as it is already well past 7PM and USPS is still not showing it in their system. No worries, guess it will be coming "overnight" then.

OMG! Amazon rocks!

So when The Goonies Bluray sold out yesterday, after a bit of time, I decided to just order the DVD version since the boxes look the same in the end (and both were selling for $6). Figured I may just buy the standalone blu-ray down the line and put it in the case (while selling the br off). A bit obsessive, I admit.

But hearing about Amazon pricematching ryandubbz's blu inspired me to e-mail them and see (since it's now available again) if I could just do a swap for the dvd/blu version. I never knew Amazon customer support was so good. Not more than 15 mins later they got back to me and said that they could do it, and swapped the blu for the dvd version I ordered. Awesome!

It all comes down to how much of a jerk a person is willing to make of themselves in order to attempt manipulating a sale to their benefit. Some people just have no dignity and/or shame. It's one thing to take advantage of an erroneous sale when it's live, it's another to call, complain, and demand after it's over because you missed out

. This all goes back to the "those who feel entitled to everything" argument...I'm surprised Amazon (or any other company for that matter) puts up with this type of behavior, I wouldn't. Thankfully these types of people are few and far between

UPS just delivered my package and as soon as I opened the box...wow it's really nice. The package is solid. Love the movie and for getting this at $6.00 is awesome! Will be giving my dvd copy to my niece.

I placed my order about 5 min before amazon placed it out of stock for the last time and JUST a few hours ago got notice that it had shipped. So it sounds like they are honoring 100% of orders. Still blown away they priced it this low, had to be a typo as with all it comes with, i doubt its turning any profit. At best, they had tons of overstock and sold it at cost i guess.
