not a steelbook, but an ironpack...closest thing you'll get to a steelbook version

No Steelbooks, Disney has opted to start doing Ironpacks instead, and this is confirmed Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story 1-3, etc.

If you are in Canada check out:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/ironpack-o...-ironpack.html

And if in the States check out:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/ironpack-o...exclusive.html

They are both the exact same I believe, one is just from Future Shop (canada), and the other Best Buy (usa). If you are in Canada it can be picked up for $19.99 on release day with a DMR coupon!!

It's now unavailable online. I guess they won't be replenishing online stock this time?

If you are from the UK, then they won't ship it outside the US anyway.

I just picked up my blu-ray discs from bestbuy with the $10 coupon.

$24.99 - $10.00 Disney coupon = $14.99 plus tax for a STEAL-book . I wish all of the steelbook is cheap like this....

I have no idea what to do with my Beauty and the Beast Iron Pack now.

I picked up the 3 disc Blu Ray version and I like the slip cover and regular packaging better then the Iron Pack.

Hope they shoot up in value on Ebay some day because other wise this sucker is just gonna sit here doing nothing but looking good. (At least it does look very good.)

if you got the iron pack(steelbook) pre order from best buy...why didnt' you get the 7.50 pre order deposit taken off from your order as well since you did pre order? then it woulda been 24.99 - 7.50 original deposit - 10.00 disney coupon = 7.49 + tax... im confused lol

Yes, I got the ironpack case ahead of time...

In the end, the total is still $14.99 + tax

My Best Buy wouldn't accept my $10 off coupon. I had also a preorder ironpak discount of $7.50. They said that the title was already on sale and adding another coupon would be considered 'stacking".

go to another Bestbuy or find a different clerk.

the guy read the coupon for 30 seconds, and then he applied after the total. i don't think he scan the coupon or anything to get the $10 off...

The $7.50 is a deposit, not a discount, and I have no idea what they mean by "stacking". It's a Disney coupon, and Best Buy gets reimbursed by them, so there should be no issue with accepting it.

Now on that note, I have had the Best Buy employees look at the Disney coupons as if they were looking at a $3 bill, so I just stared giving them the whole printed page and not just the coupon. No problems since doing that.

Just go back to Best Buy, head to the Customer Service desk and hand it to them again. You should be getting the $7.50 credit for your deposit plus the $10 coupon. If they still have issues just ask for the manager.

Actually they made a huge issue and called (i.e, "yelled for", no overhead page for me) the manager who explained the stacking principle and refused to use the coupon. The coupon was authentic. They just didn't like the $9 total that I was about to be charged for the title. Customer Service area is where I originally picked up the title.

They said stacking because the title was on sale for $24.99. They pointed to the real price of $29.99. So the store was saying that because Best Buy dropped it by $5, they won't accept the Disney coupon.

But in the end thru a mistake on their part, I got the title at another store and overall paid the same amount. And I got a free CD. (Target accepted the coupon. No ToysRUs near me at the time.) So no worries on my end. I was just posting this in case there's another Best Buy that might pull this one on the Disney coupon holders.

I'll try that for Toy Story 3.

you should have called 1-800 bestbuy while you were inline because they would have confirmed for you that they are suppose to accept the coupon. they are even suppose to accept them with a price match and even if you are also using a reward zone coupon.
I have done this a few time, then they place me on hold call the store and the tell the manager, and everything is fine.
one time i had particularly incompetant employee try to tell me i couldnt use the coupon with my giftcard i was using.

Lately though that particular bestbuy has gotten their act togeather and no longer take issue with accepting the coupon.

it never fails to amaze me how so many (not all though) #@#$ bestbuy employees are to their own policies.

I just re read your post again, so you mean they were acting like your pre order deposit was a 7.50 discount coupon?
Just put your foot down, if you go in knowing first hand exactly what their policies are and how they are worded it can really help you get what your suppose to, since 9 times out of 10 they dont even know their own policy.
and if that doesnt work just say fine iam calling your corporate hq and they can tell you.
