I think it will take at least the rest of this year for it to be sold out, but that's just a guess. Anyway, Amazon.UK put up a note on the WC's page:

"Item Under Review
This product is not currently offered by Amazon because a customer recently told us that the item he or she received was not as described. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you may still find this product available from other sellers on this page."

Yeah a couple of people complained that they were missing stuff and a few people complained about 4 and 5 Blu Ray not containing the in experience special feature, but it is nothing compared to how badly they screwed up the Australian Version.

What happened with Australia's edition?
I'm waiting for the price in my country (Brazil) to be revealed, so for now I'm just keeping up with the news of the UK's, that's from where I intend to buy if the Brazilian one is too expensive.

According to the guys at the "disc mistakes" thread, in the UK discs of movies 4, 5 and 6 don't have DTS-HD audio. 4 and 5 don't have in-movie experience either. Also, films 7.1 and 7.2 are labeled with each other's name.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm very new to HP blu-rays), but this collection does NOT include the "ultimate" or "extended" editions of all 8 movies?

I was under the impression that this was the "definitive" version (for people who have not previously purchased any or all of the films) but now I'm reading that only the first two films are extended. Is that because only those two needed to be, or just what WB has worked on so far?

I'm so lost when it comes to HP blu-rays, lol.

Exactly. In fact, the few sources who have ever said something, have just categorically denied any chance of it happening what so ever. So I guess it's safe to assume that IF it happens someday, it will take at least another 5 years.

As far as I know the US version is fine. I went through all the discs in my set and could not detect a single error.

I still haven't opened mine yet... it feels so... legendary, lol.

And movie-wise only (not including special features or collectibles), what sets this one apart from the 8-disc movie collection? Does that one have the extended/ultimate editions? 3D for the last ones?

JUST as I was to place my order on Amazon.com..... item under review. I though the US version was fine? Please reassure me and tell me that this doesn't mean it's sold out and that it's going to be available for purchase once again

Good to hear!! Now it's time for the last 2 Ultimate Editions to come out individually , but I hope that all of you truly enjoy the Wizard's Collection, if I didn't have UE's 1-6, I would have gotten this set!!!

It's not sold out. I called and also used the chat option and they told me to check back at the end of the week.

Yeah, it would be a contradiction if it was sold out, since the note they put up makes people understand something like "we are not selling this at the moment only because a customer told us there's something wrong with it".

They'll come. You wait and see. You have to give people a reason to buy the sets again, and extended versions are the answer. Just watch. Maybe not in the next two years or so, but they'll come someday.

Not to mention that there have been dozens of deleted scenes from POA onward that were never released. They'll announce "HP Extended Editions with NEVER BEFORE SEEN DELETED SCENES" The original cut of OotP was 3 hours and they cut 45 minutes. The deleted scenes on the DVD only are about 10 minutes, if that.

Of course they will make extended versions of every film -- and convert all of the others to 3D to boot! It's just a matter of time.

The studio will milk the Harry Potter franchise from now until the end of time.

Just check out the popularity of the Harry Potter section of Universal Studios Orlando.

I am also expecting that EVENTUALLY we will see a CGI Harry Potter adventure TV series, more books by J. K. Rowling (can you say "PREQUELS?) and possibly even a few spin-offs.

Ridiculous, you say? Wait and see. Money talks.

Just came back from BB and saw that they had two near the entrance. I thought it would be a lot bigger tbh.

I saw a tweet today that said the last UE will be available as a Target exclusive only, any truth to this?
