I have a feeling that Kong and Godzilla will duke it out once or twice and then the big bad will come along, more than likely Mechagodzilla, and that will kill Kong leaving Godzilla to destroy Mechagodzilla. I'm sticking by this theory.

GvK is already sounding to be the next BvS....

How many times are we gonna do the team-up to defeat bigger bad trope, if it's true (likely)?

Which I'm honestly fine with. Both heroes have their fans. It's always safer to soften the blow of one of their deaths (which apparently the director is promising will happen) by having an outside villain doing it and keeping everyone happy that one hero didn't kill another.

Either way, I'm too big of a Godzilla and Kong fan. If one does kill another and not an outside villain, then that's fine. I just need this to come out already.

One will fall could mean that one will lose. Does Toho not have a agreement that Godzilla
will not die? Also interesting to see what happens to the Titans. Hopefully they will not disappear in a shower of lights and become a new life form or some garbage like that.

After how early they started promoting KotM and how ridiculously over-saturated it became, it's better they wait. Five months is still plenty of time.

That’s what I’m thinking too, like Pacific Rim: Uprising did two years ago (NY comic-con trailer debut but also attached to Blade Runner 2049 that weekend). So it’ll likely be on Joker then. But also expect Birds of Prey to get a trailer soon as well for Joker.

Pacific Rim Uprising did the same thing. KOTM started way too early.
