I wanted to ask about a possible remaster, but since it's been rolled out according to posts in previous the page, I checked the ps3 version and damn.. it's very choppy

It sure is. I played on 360 originally and got it dirt cheap on PS3 (long after selling off my 360) and figured I'd give it another go. Boy was it awful.

I wanted to get everyones opinion on this, should make for an interesting discussion.Which of these 3 games will make it out of the gates first, and in which order? I think red dead 2 will be 1st ,then spiderman, and shenmue 3 last.

Spiderman, Red Dead and lastly Shenmue III.

Although honestly speaking, Red Dead II has more of a chance of being delayed again I think despite being worked on by a bigger team.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will probably hit June 2018;
Spider-Man, hmmm. Maybe September 2018;
And Shemue 3 last, yes.

one of the sites tweeted an article today that the reason they delayed this is to try and force sony into allowing cross platform for the game ... not sure i believe that as for as big as rockstar is i don't think they have they have that kind of sway over sony .. plus why delay it .. instead of threatening to just not release a PS4 version .. that would be a much better threat

They talk of a rumour but don't link to said rumour. I've tried tracking it back as far as possible to see where it came from and for all I could see they just mention the rumour and make up the story.

I honestly haven't heard of that site before today, and I'm sure they had a massive influx of hits adding funds to their revenue stream based off of this story.

What I find strange is that they say Sony has "Since time immemorial, conveyed their disgust towards cross-network play."

When in fact Sony has had cross network play with PC for years. Most recently FF XIV and Street Fighter V have cross network play. So that comment alone made them lose all credibility with me.

They even link back to their own article as a source, it seems the posted a similar piece on the 18th of June and it never picked up much momentum. It looks very much like they have made this "rumour" up themselves.

R* wouldn't do that they would lose millions and plus they have some kind of deal with Sony.

Are you kidding me with R* trying to threaten Sony with not releasing it on PS4. Yeah good luck with that when Sony is the console leader this gen and has the bigger install base compared to Microsoft and they already agreed and have a contract with Sony for most of the marketing campaign and also exclusive DLC content will go to Sony first.

I think the biggest reason why Red Dead Redemption keeps getting delayed is because they need the Benz.

Getting rid of Leslie Benzies was a huge loss and mistake.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Announcement Coming Next Week

Rockstar has announced that it will release something related to Red Dead Redemption 2 next Thursday, September 28 at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm UK (or 1am AEST on September 29).

The developer made the typically cryptic announcement on Twitter, using the Red Dead colour scheme and font:

What that reveal might be is another matter. We'd hazard a guess at a trailer that offers more idea of its story - it would be much the same approach as GTA V, which was announced first with a 'mood' trailer featuring its setting, and followed up with more specific plot material.

The much-hyped return to America's outlaw west was recently delayed to Spring 2018. Rockstar says that it will tell "an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland, the game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience."

Leaks have previously suggested that the game will be a prequel to the 2010 classic, and that its map will include New Bordeaux, the setting of Mafia 3.

Seriously some of you guys by know aren't use to how R* does the slow dribble feed of info on all of they're major game releases? They've been doing forever with the GTA games going as far back to the PS2 GTA games era.

I mean if you don't like and prefer the way bethesda releases the game then simply don't read any news related to this game. I personally HATE how Bethesda handle releasing they're games now.

Don't be surprised if we soon get an announcement from Gameinformer that they have RDR2 on the cover and with a 10 page exclusive info feature for next month's issue.
