Maybe it’s because I don’t know Gerwig’s perspective on Barbie yet but it seems off mark, especially the stuff with Ken. After watching this I’m reminded of the parts I didn’t like in her version of Little Women. Disney’s interpretation of Ken and Barbie worked but I’m unsure if audiences will embrace this. Interested to see the final product.

I had no interest in this and I did play with the dolls in my time. But then I saw the hilarious teaser trailer in the cinema and now I'm intrigued. It felt like I was watching Paul Verhoeven of the 1980s doing satire of the very product he's trying to sell you.

Just watched the trailer (this time the real one, lol).

So, Barbie and Ken are like in their 40's? 40 is a relatively young age, but they look old for a Barbie movie.

I'm sure it'll be an entertaining movie to watch.

Margot Robbie is 32. Gosling is in his 40's. This was my first time seeing the trailer (prior to Avatar) and can't say it looked that good. That said, I'll probably still watch it since I enjoy seeing Robbie on the big screen.

I enjoy Gosling movies so I'll watch this regardless how it ends up as.

This is either gonna be a huge runaway success or a monumental flop. Looks batshit insane and pretty sure it'll end up PG-13.
