And I don't mean terrible as in a product of their time - a lot of them are nowhere near as good as those in Superman: The Movie.
The Superman 2 effects were horrendous when they came out. Time is not a factor.

That's standard throughout the industry. It's basically a warning to keep your opportunism in check.

Too bad there aren't more actors like Robin Williams (RIP) around. He spent more time chatting with the crew and extras than anyone else on set. A real, genuine person with warmth and humanity.

Everyone's wired differently -- don't confuse process with character. Bruce Springsteen has the biggest heart, don't try and talk to him when he's zoned in on something. That's all that really means. The "don't make eye contact" is code for "don't interrupt".

That in itself my well be standard operating practice but Bruce really does come off like a dbag in most anecdotes I've come across, like in Lee Grant's book.

Springsteen, a dbag? Oh no...

I’ve met some famous people and haven’t had any issues, perhaps I just know not to crowd people.

Hah, didn't realise there was more than one Bruce in play here. Referring to Willis, Bruce a.k.a. Bruno in my comment above.

Lol my stomach was in my throat.

I’ve heard stories about him too. I don’t think he could have beaten all those terrorists if he was nice

I've been an extra on some stuff, including one TV show that's reasonably big (nothing will Willis though). For us extras, it's kinda fun. For the cast/crew, it's work. People are dialed in. If the actors are chatty and cool, then you can engage to some extent (usually by the catering, but they eat separately anyway). Standard procedure is to just mind your business.

Westworld, Backseat, and that Nike commercial Edgar Wright did. Couple of smaller things like pilots/shorts, but those are the more major ones. They were fun, would've kept doing them every now and then if I was still in LA.

Everyone involved with Cop Out seems to scramble to blame someone else for Cop Out. Kevin Smith seems hurt because Willis called him out for not knowing what lens was on the camera...you think that conversation would go down on a Spielberg film? Of course not. Willis wouldn't even have to ask. Kevin Smith has a nimble mind and a gift for conversation, he ain't exactly the hardest working director in film history, and he'd even take that as a compliment.

Nice. I still need to watch Westworld. I keep adding it to my cart but puss out for some reason. I think it’s because my wife would hate it so it’s hard to binge watch.

It's hard to binge-watch in general, even I haven't made it through Season 2 yet. It's one of those shows you really need to sit down and properly watch, and I just can't do that for more than an hour or maybe two at a time lol

I’ll check it out, perhaps when season 2 comes out.
