I have decided to go with HMV. I contacted Amazon this morning and they don’t seem to have a clue when the 3D version will drop or indeed, even if it will.

Agreed, but if deciding between the Rahul version versus the Asian disc, why would one choose the Asian disc especially given the earlier availability.

Rahul was the correct decision and the Bonus disc was just the cherry on top!

Some people like myself aren’t to keen on the bootleg quality of the packaging with the Indian releases.

I thought this was definitely the best Spider-man movie of the 7 so far. And it was a lot better than homecoming which did, well pretty much nothing for me and I thought was kind of boring. This kept me engaged. Having more experience with this version of Spider-man from the Avengers movies may have helped too.

Not knowing much about the comics
[Show spoiler]I did not see the twist coming. Having heard the name Mysterio a lot I figured he was a bad guy and since the main baddies were resolved with half the movie to go I figured he would have to turn bad or something. I never figured everything could be an illusion and he was making up his backstory. It fit right in with the multiple realities established in Endgame so I thought it was well played. I guess anyone familiar with the comics knew what was up though.

The video game from last year is still my favorite Spider-man experience though.

3D is typical marvel. So I think this is definitely a must have.

Packaging seemed fine? Slipcover and everything. Can't say it's worth $60 though but I decided not to wait on the UK this time.

Does anyone know if the bonus disc is worth having? It would have to be pretty special to make me spend an extra £10 with HMV if it really is exclusive to them.
Mine is 12.49 but might have used bonus points.

Also, no info on shipping date yet.

I think I've just had a Paranormal Experience -- or just one of the strangest coincidences in history or else the Internet is spying on me.

An order I made with Sanity AUS on Aug 28 with 4 items -- Far From Home 3D, a couple other older 3D items, and an $7 item (Miniscule ) that has been listed OOS for months. It's been a pending order since then either waiting for all 4 items to get in stock or for Spider-man to release I guess.

I literally went to the Sanity Website tonight with the intent of cancelling the order and putting an order in at AmazonUK. I looking through the website and I can't find any obvious way to do it. Read the FAQ, checked the Order, and as I'm literally copying the Email Address to send them an email message -- up pops my the EMAIL Received notice and sure enough it's an email from Sanity telling me my Order Just Shipped.

It's been 7 weeks since order, at most I check the website every 10-14 days thinking maybe I'd see a partial shipment at least the first few weeks, and Far From Home doesn't release until 23rd and it picks that exact moment to switch from PROCESSING TO SHIPPED.

A full well expected Miniscule to be cancelled and only put it in the cart to trigger a 10% discount code. I actually thought it was OOP and was planning on ordering the German or French discs sometime later.

A bit spooky -- I will admit I got a few chills run down my back and a good laugh.

EDIT: Got to Processing Email earlier, now a shipped email so if it's like my last Sanity Order that give me a chance of getting it by next weekend.

Losing your Sanity?

See what I did there?

Edit: Not sure why I bothered. Is this a fun free zone?

Well, if it makes you feel better the Aussie edition of Minuscule is region free. The French and German aren't.

I have no problem with either, I was just shocked the AUS appears to have been shipped at all. I thought it was long gone.
The AUS version will be cheaper as well with the Promo Code and AUD exchange rate.

I think it ends up around $6 USD, Grinch 3D and one other 3D for $10ea, Far From Home 3D $19 (which is about what the UK disc is right now and I'll get it a few weeks sooner).

Just got my shipping notice from Sanity, so hopefully in 2-3 weeks I'll have this.

I was on the verge of cancelling my Sanity order and just getting the UK release but they posted it out before I could get around to doing it.

Now I just have to hope I don't get taken to the cleaners by the taxman and the Royal Mail, I got lucky with Into The Spider-Verse so I'm hoping for the same with this title.

Worth the wait. One of the best 3D presentations this year (not accounting for the lack of imax scenes)!

Being in the UK I can just walk into a store and pick up the 3D when it's released.

Does the Sanity shipping to the US take a long time?

About a week to the US for my couple of prior orders -- half the average of my JBHiFI orders. That seems to go along with others who have used Sanity more often though I expect to be some variation from order to order with any international shipping.

I decided I could not wait for the UK release and ordered from Sanity. I ordered How to Train Your Dragon 3 when it first came out and it didn't seem like it took too long to get to me in the US.
