I only discovered recently I had acquired a BD-R of Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon. It had menu's and the PQ/AQ was not too shabby in all honesty BUT I'd obviously purchase an official release in a heartbeat. Fwiw I was bidding on this title via eBay but I was outbid at either £300 or $300. My search continues unless....hello, Turbine, anyone?
Same here, I have a serviceable subtitled copy myself but I’d upgrade to official status in a heartbeat if I could acquire a legit copy for $100 or less.

Those were never converted to 3D by the studios, so it is impossible to have them.

I wouldn't say impossible... but mostly improbable as those depend on the studio's willing to make money while spending for the 3D conversions.

If I were some suit from any of those studios I'd make the conversion and release it in a commemorative date for the movie or event of the year. That way any of those movies would eventually cash good amounts of money from box office and the eventual blu-ray 3D would be a question of time instead of never.

I’d say there’s zero chance of any 3-D Disney or WB films hitting 3-D Blu, from Turbine or the companies themselves. And for those films that were never converted to 3-D, there’s a less than zero chance.

These of course were already released in 3D in Japan, not ideal for the price of course, but many who really wanted them will have already imported the Japanese releases. If Turbine somehow manages to make a deal with Disney, I'd rather that they focused first on the unreleased titles, such as Nutcracker and the Four Realms.

Yeah that's the title for the upcoming one, I'm sure he was trying to refer to the previous across the spider-verse.

That's true but of all the releases out there, the French is uniquely the worst because it has forced subtitles.

Yes, but it's thrown in as an extra and isn't great quality. See https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=277693

Hope their intern numbers will help to convince other/more studios, like the mouse to licence 3D titles in the future. Fingers crossed!

Finally ordered MI: Fallout and Migration from Turbine’s shop. $60.58 shipped. I’m absolutely cool with that. Super stoked!

It’s just one of the coolest things ever that Turbine has stepped into the void left by RSM and is licensing these orphaned 3-D films, and is even doing quite well with them. Thank you, oh mighty Turbine.
