GRUAH I'm DYING TO KNOW FOR SURE IF THIS WILL BE RELEASED OR NOT. I'm really craving to see this movie on proper high-def! The DVD version I own is so muddy when upscaled to HD on my PS3 and it's just not the same/right.

Apart from the special edition of Avatar Jurassic Park is my most anticipated movie, I've even avoided seeing it for years just so that it'd feel even more special when I finally do get the blu-ray version.

Huh? I went to that site and it only list the DVD which it says was released in 2005. I looked under the blu-ray section on that site and there is not even a jurassic park listed. Did they pull the page, the page listing the blu-ray was an error perhaps?

Hmmm... Looks like they finally pulled it. I knew it was too good to be true.

Someone from the dvd.nl forum contacted Universal about the Jurassic park blu-ray release on november 4th (on the Dutch Universal site). Universal's reaction was that Jurassic Park in not coming to blu-ray soon and the releasedate of november 4th would be removed.

Releaselists.com shows Jurassic Park and The lost world on 4th November, but only in Germany and the Netherlands. Chances are that they would be released here around the same time. No mention of Jurassic Park 3 though (by far the weakest of the trilogy imo).

Would love the Jurassic Park films on Blu-ray, dont think I've ever seen the third one, but would pick up a trilogy box set as I loved the first two.

I have 10 or so movies left on DVD that aren't out, or even announced on Blu-Ray yet, and Jurassic Park and the Lost World are two of them. A suprise release in November would be fantastic, but I just hope we won't be forced to be a trilogy box set without single releases like a lot of other trilogies on Blu-Ray. I've been wanting to re-watch them both recently but I've been holding off in hope of Blu-Rays..

I'm so sick of people jumping the gun when it comes to Jurassic Park movie news. Everyone's excited, but chill out. They know we want it and we will get it, but don't rush it.

Anyway, I can only hope the Blu-ray is near, but it's unlikely. However, there were airings of the entire trilogy in HD (720p) in the US and other countries, one I know of being on ABC. If you search, you can find them. Some are even labeled 1080p, but I'm not sure if they are real. I do have Jurassic Park in 720p though and it looks really freakin' good. Treated myself to it as a nice little 1080p blu-ray sneakpeak.

On a lighter note, anyone hear anything about the deleted scenes from the first movie?

They've been removed from the Dutch Universal site, so it's not coming on November 4th.

If they were coming out here in less than a month they would've been announced already, not sure what Steven is waiting for.

It is interesting to note that in the UK, these films appear to have been deleted on DVD. Suspecting the Blu Ray wasn't coming anytime soon, I decided to try and find a cheap trilogy set recently, and I had to buy them from a third party seller.

I would take that as an indicator that they probably are planned soon.

I'd be very surprised if they didn't appear next year at some point - along with Indy hopefully.

1993 ....2013 = 20 year anniversary edition.

Hot tip, this is what the wait is for :P

same with indiana jones...1981 ....2011 = 30 year anniversary.

this is the most logical reasoning to why these 2 series are not out yet.
