Vontaze Burfict just needs to get a clean shot on either Thomas (Darron and/or De'Anthony). If he does, neither one will want to play any more.

Mr. Burfict is going leave for the NFL draft early and be a 1st round draft choice. He's a young version of Ray Lewis.

What i found interesting yesterday was the C-USA and MWC joining for football. 22 teams will be the largest conference. Granted, size does not equal quality, but it could change the dynamics when BCS schools are chosen again.

It's not staying at 22 teams. It's almost certain Central Florida is going to the Big East and it's possible Air Force, Boise State, SMU, and/or Houston could go to the Big East as well, although it sounds like Boise isn't leaving. Air Force's decision may hinge on what Navy does, and it's unknown what Houston and SMU will do. I actually think 20 is the biggest a conference should go. With 20 you can have 2 divisions of 10 teams each and with a 9 game conference schedule each team in the division would meet.

I'm hating Michigan State's jerseys today. They look too much like Oregon. I don't really like the shoulders/sleeves on Michigan's jerseys either.

It's simply astounding how well Jacory Harris is playing this season. Golden and his staff have done a tremendous job developing him in a very short period of time. One can only wonder how good he would be if he had good coaching for a couple years. Go 'Canes!

Not really surprising here. Michigan played a garbage schedule to this point. They were never as good as their 6-0 record. They finally play a decent team and trail by 2 TD's going into the 4th. Amazing how so many D1 schools get away with scheduling 8 home games and just 4 road games.

Not today, Beta.

They're clearly not as good as State or Wisconsin. Padding the front end of their schedule to ensure a "Bowl" bid doesn't change the fact, they may only be the 5th or 6th best team in the "Big 10" (12). Their Conference record will be the true measure of their talent.

Five sacks against and a pic-6 in the 2nd half is unacceptable.

Michigan State has a great defense, they deserve all the credit in the world. The Spartans absolutely abused Denard Robinson today. Michigan is better than last year, but still the third best team in the Big Ten. When Denard Robinson is forced to consistently have to make big throws, he simply can't get it done.

How nice was it to see Miami get a big win today!! Let's go 'Canes!!!

I'm fairly surprised Oklahoma State/Texas is anywhere near as close as it is. 4 point game in the second half? I didn't think Texas could stay with them.

Can't believe Maryland is playing this well. They lead undefeated Clemson 28-17 at the half.

Andrew Luck is having a very rare bad game. Stanford has only a 10-7 lead over Washington St. at halftime.

Doesn't look good for Maryland at 2-4 with an unfavorable schedule remaining. Best case scenario is probably a 5-7 season. I'd give Edsall a year or two though to turn things around.
