FYI for the 4 PIFers that use iTunes after you redeem a Drafthouse digital code, you can download a 720p or 1080p digital copy and play the movie in iTunes like any other iTunes movie.

Once downloaded, you can add your drafthouse movie directly to your iTunes Library with a few extra steps within iTunes (File/Create New Version/Ipad & Apple TV). After doing the conversion, you'll be able to watch the movie via iTunes like any other purchased or code redeemed movie.

So, that means we can view it from the iCloud. Or is it just adding it to your iTunes PC library? I don't see the 'Create New Version' under File or the option to create one for iPad/AppleTV.

Regarding viewing from iCloud, I downloaded the digital movie file from the drafthouse films website to my Macbook (notice the cloud symbol is missing from the Spring cover art) . You can definitely add the movie to a Media server and stream it to your devices via iTunes Homesharing if storage space is a concern. Not sure if you can upload to your iCloud drive and stream from there.

Thank you. I don't have a Mac, just a PC, but I just realize that I had the menu bar set on hidden on iTunes. I already had it added to the library all I did was change the info to get it to show in my 'Movies' tab instead of the 'Home Videos' tab. I hadn't tested it on the ATV, so wasn't sure it would work, but glad there is that option to create one that will. So, as for iCloud I guess you need to upload it then in order for it show up, but I don't subscribe to iTunes iCloud beyond the typical 5 GBs you get for free.

The manager told me I can pre-order the 2D and upgrade to 3D without any issue. Just to come and see her when I go in to pick it up. I then went home and ordered the 2D online.
