Been using the VOC lately as my primary but it's just not as fast as I'd like it to be. Though I like the impact it creates, but it's not my weapon of choice for the Crucible. I have to rely on my Rare auto-rifle that needs to be replaced for good this week.

finally beat the raid boss last night for the first time. thanks to narmak and mega for the help. it was just kinda a pickup raid but it worked out.

all i got was shards though

i will have to try the rest of the raid, now that i know how to beat atheon

The "story" is so screwed up it's not even funny, lol. There are sooooo many things missing that it doesn't even make sense! Sometimes.....ok, most of the time, I get caught up in the game play that I don't pay that close attention to the story so after my first play through I thought that maybe I just didn't pay attention to what was going on. I finished my second play through last night and all I can say is WOW.......what the crap? This game doen't even begin to make sense.

But, I still love playing it! Had they provided a better story (or one at all) and some more things to do, this would have been the game of the century, it's a ton of fun.

You jumped out of our game a split second too soon. We were grabbing the two hard mode loot chests for Burn. All you had to do was jump up that ledge for them

Any time. I had already done the raid but I still like playing it over.

Narmark, sorry for throwing up a shield in the back center. Yall played it a little different. I'm used to Casual using the Relic shield in the back center while the rest of us hammer on the Boss.

You couldn't tell by that last cutscene that it was over? And sadly the Grimoire cards make things better, just not sure why they couldn't include them in-game. It would have made the story a little better being able to read up on stuff right away.

And the raid requires a lot of communication. We did rather good beside the portal part. I kept asking my paired team mate to get his a to the portal with me... but he was focused on other things, thus leaving the portal open and killing us.

My alts up to 14, but if i'm honest I cba playing missions solo. Having a higher level person shoot all the enemies lets you run through story missions on hard gaining extra XP. Bounties such as Target based ones are also easiers to complete.

Hopefully once the Titans at the right level, I can double up and try to refine my build with the right stats and perks if I actually get raid gear drops.

I started a warlock Sunday and had it at level 13 the first day just by going through the story solo, then after work yesterday I finished the story (still have the flayer strike to do) and made it to 18.5 or so, I plan to get it to 20 tonight and start looking for gear!

I might start a Hunter as well and keep 1 of each type at least to level 20 for any armor I get that doesn't work for my titan. It's kinda fun to try out the other characters too, the warlock and titan are very different, lol.

I got my first alt char way back during first week of launch to 20 within 2 days. However i'm completely unmotivated to play Destiny as much as that anymore. Hence why i'm coasting along on levelling.

I've been neglecting my alt Hunter and Titan. My only motivation to keep them going is just to see what they can do when upgraded. But other than that, re-playing he story at lower levels is no appealing to me.

The strikes are soooo much harder when you are level 14 doing a level 14 strike, it's not the same ol' run through it and shoot the boss a 1000 times.....you die fast and have to use some tact, lol. I forgot what it was like after doing 100 strikes with a high level character and nice guns.

I had a guy last night run to the end and hide in the corner while me and the other guy killed the boss, it was a loooooong fight since we were both the minimum level and missing a guy, but was gratifying.

Those guys were fun to play with, though once you left I knew no one. It worked out well enough that despite difference in the ways we had played the VOG before, I could play my way and it still meshed with what they had going on. I don't much feel very good about using the grenade glitch to beat Atheon. We've only ever played the VOG legit, but it was not my raid to lead, and it was getting late, so... It's not like I got anything for it anyway.

I'll probably be up for some weeklies after work tonight, if you still have a spot. Tried Nightfall solo this morning and it was a waste of time.

I'd like to delete a warlock and start a hunter, but 5 warlock raids and one hunter raid later and I have a single chestpiece to show for it...and three Atheon's Epilogues. My exploding sparrow is kind of fun, I guess.
