Despite having watched The Lord of the Rings trilogy a number of times, bizarrely I haven't seen The Hobbit yet. This needs to be corrected fairly quickly.

As for your forthcoming appointments, I sincerely wish you all the very best with them Vilya.

True. I will remedy that in the new house. Good luck with the string of visits and procedures!

When the dust settles I plan to post a detailed update, but I want to wait until I know the outcome of it all.

Good luck with that, as always, wishing for the best possible outcome so you can be back home enjoying your movies asap.

I recently picked up the Hobbit 3D extended trilogy (also includes regular versions) so will watch at some point in the near future. LOTR is still my much preferred of the two trilogies however.

I did a thing:

https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/revi...eries-m51ax-j6

My old Sony soundbar bit the dust a little over a year ago, so we have had to rely on the TV speakers when watching movies and shows with others. Thankfully I have my Sony Surround headphones when I watch movies by myself, but I've really been wanting a new soundbar.

So I finally pulled the trigger on the Vizio 5.1-Channel M-Series soundbar. It supports Atmos and DTS:X content and has 2 surround speakers. I know it is nowhere near the quality of a true Atmos setup, but it will be my first surround system so I'm excited regardless. My first baby steps towards a home theater setup. Now I can't wait to start watching my Atmos discs and kinda see what I've been missing.

I wanted the steelbook edition of

and I paid ebay prices to get it, but at least my copy arrived extremely well packaged and in pretty much perfect condition.

I found a seller that offered both parts in steelbook editions, so I got this, too:

even though I already owned the regular edition, but the two steelbooks look so nice together!

I just received . I haven't watched this in ages; it will be fun to revisit it via 4K disc.

I'm leaving for St. Louis in about 45 minutes. I don't even have my shoes on yet and I am already bone tired.

Good luck.

Received it today and set it up. Popped in Dune (2021) and Bumblebee UHD's to test them out. Wow, it's crazy what I've been missing. The Atmos effect is iffy but overall it still sounds great to me. I need to do some fine tuning but so far I'm very pleased. I can only imagine how amazing some of your setups sound.

I haven't seen this since it originally played in the theater. Next week will be my chance as it has a 30 year re-release playing. I'm looking forward to seeing it again before the remake comes out.

Look people could rent films from the dawn of home media, people could rent music a lot longer and libraries have existed for many centuries. It is not about a version of the future, but the reality of human nature.

did not know there was a remake of the crow coming out. But that is one good thing about remakes they keep on helping with re-releasing the originals.
