Yeah, his performance wasn't groundbreaking, but it certainly exceeded expectations of his acting, I'm sure especially from those who look at wrestlers as a joke. Glad he was able to stick it to them.

My favorite part of his character was the scene where
[Show spoiler]Drax is giving compliments to each of his new friends, and then calls Gamora a green wh**e
.
I thought he was alright in the Riddick movie but yeah I was really surprised by his performance here. And I agree that was a great scene, he had some really funny lines throughout the film.

If there was an IMAX within 50 miles showing it, I would be there.

I guess I will have to settle for the traditional 3D showing again. Darn it.

Going to be a 4th normal viewing to day after Let's Be Cops, going to try to get the father to take me to see it in IMAX 3D on Saturday or Sunday.

I'll be honest, I was that impressed by the IMAX version, I'm reluctant to watch a normal 2/3D version (even though its £4 for the IMAX showing vs free or £1.60 for standard )

I knew nothing of him except he was a wrestler and YES I was very impressed by his performance. He was really good at acting--which even some actors are NOT! LOL

He did himself proud.

The Deluxe edition CD of the soundtrack has both the Awesome Mix #1 and the score. It isn't available in digital as one album (but is available digitally as separate albums), so Autorip isn't included when purchasing the Deluxe CD from Amazon.

I finally saw the movie today. I think it was too hyped. I knew nothing about the characters and hadn't read any spoilers so I went into it fresh. It was ok. I wasn't blown away by it. The main characters were likable. I could just as easily waited for the blu-ray. Maybe on a second viewing when the blu-ray comes out, it will be better.

Premiered here in the Netherlands tonight and just came back from a midnight IMAX 3D screening. I absolutely loved it! My favorite Marvel movie so far! Long time since I had this much fun in theaters. The audience was really into it as well, and even applauded at the end of the film

My student transport pass kicks in next week, so free transport and my unlimited movie pass means I'll propably see this in IMAX a few more times

Based on his performances in The Man with the Iron Fists and Riddick, I wasn't expecting much from him beyond looking strong and tough. While I wouldn't say his performance here was anything spectacular, it's certainly better than I would've given him credit for.

Got back from my 3rd viewing earlier today in 3D (2D, IMAX 3D, 3D).

Honestly gets better and better with every viewing.

I haven't seen a film 3+ times theatrically since Spider-Man 2 in 2004. Guess it's no-brainer that I freaking LOVE this movie, and it will easily be one of my most anticipated and cherished blu-rays ever.

Gunn has said there are some nice deleted scenes and there is some early talk of an extended cut.

I agree--it will cost a lot to complete the scenes and Marvel won't pay it.

Nice sculp, but have fun when the rubber coating on those arms starts shredding itself to pieces. It's an issue which plagues every Hot Toys product with seamless limbs.

I'm awful tempted to change my order to the Rocket/Groot 2-Pack given the new additions.

But I think I'll just stick to the Rocket. Since I have a feeling I'll end up buying more than one.

Since they'll likely do his Red "Ravagers" Uniform as well as his Blue "Guardians" Uniform.

Hell.... I think they'll even eventually do his Yellow Prison Uniform at some point.
