Funny how times change. I remember buying my first flat-screen TV after many years of faithful service from my old 32" Sony cathode-ray tube TV and getting a 42", again by Sony. It seemed huge to me back then after being used to my smaller screen. It's now used in the other room as a spare and still works a treat. Whenever I wander into my local AV showroom, I could swear the screens are getting bigger and bigger.

I test drove a Tesla and decided to rebuild a classic 1973 Super Beetle convertible instead.

The future can be whatever it wants to be. I will make my own choices and when it comes to my home theater UHD BD is the ultimate media.

If you have a bad habit of keeping physical media on the floor and have pets, check your slipcovers. I was kind of like 'huh' earlier and surprised a few slips had teeth marks and some of the slips chewed off in the corners. It's too petty of an issue to worry about but made me realize keeping physical media on the floor is probably not a good move. Also, you can of course accidentally step on them and I remember cracking more than one LD in the past from stepping on them in the dark.

I'm hosting The Taylor Swift Eras Tour on Disney+ for mostly my daughter's friends tonight. Will be about 10 people.

I really would prefer to host something on disc therefore in house but my cable internet should be ok ... I hope.

We have a sign for paid parking area and my daughter is trying to setup a security bag check station and merch table.

The inclusion of zombies, and sharks , elevate any movie that they are in by at least a full star.

I quite enjoyed it on release but have grown to dislike it over the years. Not one I have in my collection nor one I intend to add.

Purchased Supernatural: The Complete Series on Blu-ray from eBay for $100 shipped. It's the lowest I've ever seen it used/new. It's 15 seasons on BD, which breaks it down to about $7+ per season.

I watched the 4K disc of Get Out yesterday and forgot how great the 4K disc looked and sounded.

For a different perspective, I think this is one of the best films ever made. Have seen it multiple times and it's always entertaining. A film that deserved all the Oscars that it won.
