I ordered the Screams/Redeemer bundle but forgot about free shipping over $40. Would have probably grabbed Mean Johnny Barrows too. Oh well.

I wonder how many copies of SOAWN went out the back door this afternoon to the scalpers.

Might as well list every title as OOP and super rare.

BBNM was sold normally through Diabolik and was available for a very long time before they sold through their stock

The self-imposed scarcity tactic is a complete racket and Bill has been doing it for years. I realized this was the case when I saw titles popping up recurrently in the old Code Red Big Cartel store that had been allegedly "OOP" or "only 1,000 pressings" years after the fact. They would "run out" for a year or so and then suddenly more would be up for sale.

Was able to pick up the Arena/Screams bundle plus a few other titles I’ve been meaning to get. Not pleased with how they’ve handled the release but I got all the titles I wanted at a price I’m good with.

Had SOAWN & MM2 in my basket but decided to empty it and went over to Amazon UK and purchased Arrows coming Rings Collection, I feel good about doing it, not to mention the Blood Island Collection Limited is back in stock over at Amazon US and I am jumping on it since it's $52.56, too many other good things to buy and no time to jump hoops to get what I want. I am done with this circus.

This is just, excuse me for the pun, Chaos. I miss the old Dark Force cartel store. They had a lot of my business. This new store front is a joke. Things come and go too fast and the inventory is sh*t.

Whatever, if you don't want my money I will take it elsewhere. Tired of dealing with this stupid marketing BS. Had to work a double shift yesterday and waited up late for the store to open and it never opened. Woke up this morning and it still wasn't open. Now that I am home from work, the 1-2 bundles with SOAWN that I would have been interested in and the solo release of SOAWN only give the option of "Add to Wish List". There are too many amazing releases coming out from all over the world, to have to deal with this for a sub-par over priced movie. You are the worst thing that has happened to Code Red and that is saying a lot.

The new storefront itself is nicer than the old.

The problem is for whatever reason SWOAN blew up Dark Forces popularity and they haven't yet expanded to manage the shipping for the higher volume of sales, so if 300 units move in a few hours they can't take anymore orders because they aren't staffed up to handle any more orders

I had SOAWN in my cart. I looked at the $31 price and said to hell with it. That's money better spent elsewhere. Plus I don't want to support these horrible business practices. Hopefully someone who wanted it more than me got it and it didn't go to a Fleabayer.

I went for the bundle with The Carrier, although when I ordered it they hadn't added the note that the magnet would not be included. Anyway, I had been interested in Screams for a while now since reading about it in Nightmare USA but have to temper my expectations from all the hype. Anybody have any thoughts on The Carrier? I know that the director's cut is the only one to watch due to the audio glitch, but is the movie decent? Hard to tell what is really going on there from the description.

Glad I picked up the combo pack with Arena and Screams. Thanks to the people who posted that there site was up. The price was an easier pill to swallow, since I wanted Arena anyway. It's too bad I had to find out about the CR release on the DF thread. Not to but please merge these 2 threads. Frankly, I luckily went to this thread first to find out CR news, which is not how it's supposed to be. Others it seems were not so lucky in securing a copy. Hopefully they will get what they want in the NEAR future. By the way, I think my order # was in the middle 1200's. So I can expect this to ship 2 weeks from now, or have they gotten their shipping act together??

Despite the flaw to the audio on the theatrical cut, The Carrier is easily one of the best code red titles I've ever watched this far. It was a blind buy and I enjoyed the directors cut.

Screams is still available on their site bundled with Tobe Hooper’s “spontaneous combustion”, which is called the HIGH OCTANE PACK.

Can't believe they sold out this quickly. I came home and found people griping again and almost everything sold out. I'm wondering why it is selling so quickly, as I didn't think there was so much interest. I knew I wanted it but I only bought one, as no one in my circle wants it. If this is genuine popularity and not just scalpers, with demand that high, they must be at least considering pressing another 1000.
