So since disc 3 doesn't state "NEW 2021 4K Scan From The Original Negative", I'm assuming whatever "Original Color Timing Presentation" means, disc 3 won't be using the new 2021 4k scan used for the first 2 discs.

My order finally went through. Still not sure how I feel about spending almost $200 but as someone who didn't get the collector's set, these will be a nice addition next to the Friday the 13th boxset.

Ok...heads up...if you want to buy from Amazon...under the PRE-ORDER section here on Blu-Ray.Com...you can click on Halloween 1, 2, 4, and 5. You can pre-order those now. Even though 1, 4, and 5 say MORE INFO TO COME...click on those and it will take you to Amazon to Pre-Order. Halloween 2 has the pre-order link. Halloween 3...nothing yet.

Keep in mind that these vinyl records are only 7" (45's). They are not full vinyl albums with full soundtracks.

For all the people posting about how much they hate the artwork over the weekend, there's sure a ton of people scooping these up on their site today to snag the posters.

Personally, I'll just be pre-ordering them through Amazon, as I expect these will likely drop to under $30 each by the time they're released. Which means as always those posters aren't "free" since you'll be paying full list price through Shout and Amazon's price will likely drop by release.

I have no desire for the posters. Anyone who likes the art that much can find them at high resolution on Amazon's listings for each release.

IMO the bundles are totally not worth it. Assuming $28.99 each on Amazon by release, that's $144.95 for all 5 films, including slip covers. Since the majority dislikes the art anyways, why spend $200-$300 for the same thing only with posters and some 45's and pins? Save yourselves a bundle of money imo.

I get it - I'm a collector too, but the bundles just aren't worth the cost imo. The jump from $250 for the UHDs, posters and vinyls to $300 for the same thing except with 5 pins is especially hilarious. That's $10 per pin. $50 for the pin set?

Depends on where you get them.

I think most places now only allow you to get a replacement but it has to be for the exact same version of the movie you bought (pointless if Shout! does indeed release these with the wrong color gamut, but like before, don’t bother to correct it).

Would not put all my eggs in that basket. They’ve messed up the color gamut of some of their previous 4K disc releases (two of them films by John Carpenter). They never bothered to correct them and that might very well happen again with these.

I think it’s nice all of the films got Atmos audio upgrades, and original audio except for Halloween 4 + 5 which we still haven’t had the original audio option for. This so far is the biggest disappointment next to still no deleted footage.

I have the UK 4K version and it looks lovely, however, I don't see a huge jump between that and the Blu ray. It will be interesting to see what the new 4k transfers look like, I think I may have to wait until closer to release as these will cost a fortune to get from the US when I already have them all in the Italian box set!
