Shelf space is a definite problem. But I'm always amazed at how quickly I'll add a few more Blu-rays to a sale order when the same amount of money might have paid for a shelf unit that could store a few hundred more Blu-rays neatly instead of stacking them in piles around the house. Must be because it would take so much extra effort to assemble the shelves, compared with slitting open the poly-wrap and popping a disc into the player. Yeah, that's gotta be it.

Thanks to another haul from my nearby closing Blockbuster, I have crossed the 1500 mark (1507 to be precise). All of these were less than $5, most were less than $2. I hope to make it back once more before it closes for good as there were still a few interesting titles. I'll buy just about anything for $1-$2 bucks. I know if I hate it, I can easily get that back in trade over at FYE. Now, I just have to order some blu-ray cases so that I can integrate these into my library without my OCD kicking in.

You know what's kind of a downer about being in this club?

If you have your top deal banner set up to ignore things you already own, then by this point, all of the "deals" are like "what the hell is that...and why would I ever buy it"....

...And then you start to consider buying it.
