Aren't Barnes and Noble an American company though???

I figure I'll wait till the 29th and just get it from Amazon.ca the day of release.

Unless there's another Canadian retailer already shipping them???

They are but shipping to Canada only costs $5 and is pretty fast.
Just go with them, they're the best (and cheapest) option at the moment.

I don't know any Canadian retailers that might have it on time, but if you have any specialty shops around they might have some, but you'd have to hunt down names and locations.

As for B&N the only time you should order from there (if you're Canadian) is if you don't mind getting it a month later because it was cheap.
Otherwise stay away - slow slow slow shipping, as if it was coming from China - which I have ordered from and they might even arrive faster than from B&N.

LOL, last thing I ordered to my house took me a week (maybe a week and a half), its definitely not always like that. Just get it from them and if it doesn't show up then give them shit and get a refund and get it from Amazon.ca.

I'll just get it from Amazon.ca provided they don't sell out on the day it's released.

I've had that happen with a few hockey DVD sets which pissed me off when I went to buy them from Amazon.ca the day they came out.

Haha, well maybe it's not like that for every item, but it took 3 weeks to a month for all 3 of my orders (not items, 3 orders) from them - from the shipping date, which was about a week after the order date.
So in my experience it has been super slow.

So they ship quick to Ottawa then?
I'm still waiting for them to get Killer Reserved Nine Seats before they can ship my Cannibal Holocaust since I ordered them toegther. I figured Cannibal Holocaust would delay the shipment of Killer Reserved Nine, not the other way around.

Edit: speak of the devil! Just got my shipping confirmation! Yay!

I just have to say that 2014 is amazing to me because K-Mart sells the movie Cannibal Holocaust. This is just hilarious and I never thought that would happen.

Grrrr. Kmart charged me almost immediately. (Almost two weeks ago when someone mentioned the Sears Card Shop Your Way points up thread.) I received my credit card statement earlier this week. But my order is still "processing" (with an estimated arrival of July 1.)

I use that card maybe once or twice a year, but Sears (Citi?) occasionally gives me bonus points for no particular reason. Those bonus points made this disk $13 plus change shipped. I probably would have waited for a ~$15 price otherwise.

I'm glad to hear they are at least fulfilling some orders. I was hoping to check this BD out after some 4th barbecue but not this year.

It's too bad Kmart doesn't actually stock copies in-store. If they did maybe they would generate more traffic. Their movie section is pathetic.

Man.. this was hardcore!

I have been watching violent and horric films all my life, however I only ever saw Cannibal Holocaust for the first time a few years ago, and I honestly thought that it would be the first movie I wouldn't be able to finish (due to the horror of it, not because it was totally uninteresting). It was the animal cruelty scenes that nearly pushed me over the edge... but I made it to the end!

The SE DVD proudly sits on my shelf, bought with the full knowledge that I would never watch it again!

That said, I am getting intrigued to revisit this, especially since the BD image wuality is reported to be pretty good. Will even go for the animal cruelty version, even though I know how tough of a viewing experience it is!

Ordered this yesterday morning from K-Mart and already got my shipping notice! It'll be my first time watching it and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have my mind blown by this movie.

If anyone still needs to get this, I'd say K-Mart is definitely the place. Cheaper than anywhere and .99 shipping, was only $25.77! Really sucks to hear what a problem the user up above was having with his order.

Yes very disappointing, I have some hearing issues, and subtitles definitely make it easier for me to enjoy a film. They would also have been nice for the interviews and commentary with Francesca Ciardi, I personally found it very difficult to understand her. Oh well it is a great set regardless.
