It's an extremely odd error. I don't think I've seen an error like that in a big budget movie before. Unfortunately, I don't think it will be fixed for the Blu-ray release.

On first viewing I didn't take notice of it. So it goes for other movies and errors therein.

This film does seem more rushed than the previous two.

Were all the "Gotham Backdrops" during Bane's speech also mistakes? I know Nolan has a thing for them, but they kind of messed up the pacing of the scene.

I think I mentioned somewhere else that The Dark Knight Rises was excellent but it actually made me appreciate The Dark Knight a lot more. I can honestly say I like that installment best of the Batman movies but nevertheless, this was just as good but felt it could have been slightly better, just a bit.

However, I really liked the
[Show spoiler] confrontation scene between Alfred and Bruce regarding Rachel
and how they put more emphasis on Bruce Wayne's character, instead of Batman. I can honestly felt for him in both those scenes.

Maybe that error was not an error? A way of Nolan to put hints that Miranda is fishy, walking around even if she is supposed to be Bane's prisoner?

I agree also that this could be the case.

That's a pretty significant turning point in the film. I believe it's possible that Nolan could have looked at the script and watched the scenes unfold and realized he could flip them.

But if it was a mistake, that's a pretty big blunder.

I wonder if Nolan has been asked about this. Or if he'd even admit that there was an error.

A Batman fan site, who has had their hands in a lot of correct info regarding these films, seem to think that "Extended Cut" WB is rumored to include on the Blu-ray is in fact, a rumor. Not true. Director's Cut is in fact the theatrical version.

Nolan's notoriously private and likes the allusion of movie magic, hence the reason we rarely see deleted scenes and quality extras for his films on discs.

There are errors like this all the time.

Do you have a copy of The Hunger Games? Watch it closely.

The characters have a lot of costume changes after they arrive in The Capitol. They never wear the same civilian outfits twice, not even Katniss and Peeta. However, there are some scenes where you can clearly tell that Katniss is wearing a yellow top with black pants. Those scenes were meant to take place during the same day, but in the editing process, they were split up over the course of her stay in the Tributes' Apartment Tower.

Also, if you have The Bourne Supremacy, check out the scene where Bourne calls Landy while looking at her through a sniper snope. When he hangs up, there is a shot of Ward and Danny Zorn where their clothes don't match what they're wearing that day.

Sorry but this stuff about scenes being in the wrong order is just absolute nonsense. What do we think goes on in editing rooms? You might disagree with some of the choices but nobody edits a film by mistake.

Continuity is often sacrificed to re-order scenes in the order in which the director thinks is best. And yes, tight schedules can lead to mistakes in the length of scenes. But no self-respecting director would watch the final cut of a movie and think "shit - I put those scnes in the wrong order!" and not fix it.

This is one of the most ludicrous notions I've seen on this forum - and that's saying something!

In the script:

>Meeting with Miranda and Fox.
>Courthouse scene.
>Gordon scene.

I watched it again on the weekend. I paid attention to these scenes due to this thread. I actually thought it worked ok the way they did it. The problem with the script way is that Batman wouldn't know where Gordon would be without seeing the trial or hearing about it.

It is sort of a weird set of scenes. The thing is to
[Show spoiler] kill off Bruce Wayne
the order would have to be after courthouse scene or it wouldn't make sense why Bane would want to see him as he should have just been there.

Nolan and his team don't make mistakes very often so I am surprised they would leave it, if they didn't think it made more sense. If it is changed then we all will know but, i doubt it.

Or rather the Theatrical version is the Director's Cut.
