I'm feeling pretty bummed, I have the set of the first film and have been doing alright with my collection of Marvel Hot Toys (Spideys, GOTG, Wolverines, Captain Americas, Blade II etc.) but when I saw the price of the Hulkbuster - I just couldn't justify it.

For $90 more you can buy the Marty and DeLorean - just doesn't seem right. Plus have the same issue with shipping/tax and exchange rate.

I guess I will keep collecting the ones that seem reasonable and look good ...

That's absolutely the right way to go about it. I mean if you're a huge fan of the Hulkbuster in the movie then I'd understand why you'd go for it, but to dish out that kind of cash just for completion's sake isn't really worth it. You should just buy the ones you know you're going to enjoy.

Me...I'm not sure whether to double-dip and get the new Black Widow and Hawkeye. I have the ones from the original Avengers, but I'm tempted by the new looks.

I think the Winter Soldier Black Widow looks better than the Age of Ultron one. At least, with the face sculpt.

Marty McFly delayed again. This time until "between May thru July of 2015."

They aren't making it any easier for me to get this one out of the way so that I can start to try and convince my wife that I have plenty of time to save up enough to buy the matching Delorean.

I almost pulled the trigger for Black Widow and Hawkeye, but as I have the original Avengers versions, I backed out. I prefer the original head sculpts. The new accessories/costumes are cool but not worth buying a whole second figure for. At least, that's what I keep telling myself!

Got the Cap preordered as I don't have any Cap yet, and the same for Thor once he's released. Then I guess it's onto Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Vision
[Show spoiler]and perhaps Falcon if he becomes an Avenger in Ultron
to complete my line-up. Oh, and hopefully Drax eventually for my Guardians!

Just saw the email for the new Iron Man 1/4 scale. $544.99. I really want to get it, but this is expensive.

Has anyone seen the new add from Sideshow? War Machine for AOU...

http://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectib...t-toys-902355/

It looks like a repaint of the IM3 figure, but I couldn't resisit to pre-order this one. I saw an IM3 one for $270 on ebay but it does not include the Cheadle head sculpt. There are more hands and options with this newer figure as well.

Still trying to resist the temptation of ordering this. How exactly does the payment thing work? Has anyone used it before?

http://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectib...t-toys-902314/

Maybe ill just save money and get the Kotobukiya one.

If you want to use their flex pay system what they do is have you select how many payments you want to take this as. This Iron Man has a maximum of 4 that they will let you take. Each payment is automatically charged to your card one day a month. After you choose how many payments you want to take then you select which day you want them to charge your card each month. When you place your order they will immediately charge your card a non-refundable deposit which is 10% ($34.50 for this Iron Man) and then your first payment will begin on the following day of the month you selected.

So for instance if you ordered this today and you took it as 4 payments and you selected them to charge your card on the 5th, you would be charged $34.50 today and then you would be charged $77.63 on May 5th. You would then be charged every month on the 5th for $77.63 for June, July and August. On your last payment date in August you would also be charged for shipping and tax, but since you live in Kansas they won't charge you any tax.

I highly recommend their flex pay system. Its really easy to do, and if you love a piece that you can't really afford this really helps break it down into smaller chunks for you.

Surely they got Elizabeth's rights to do a Scarlett Witch figure?

Then again, maybe she doesn't feel comfortable with guys owning a 1/6 photo-real version
of her in a short skirt.

Can't say as I would blame her.

I went ahead and preordered it as well. I couldn't resist. I'm now on the fence with the Hulkbuster.

@Swordfish- thanks for the payment info! I didn't know either. That may be my option for the Hulkbuster.

You're welcome. With the rapidly raising prices from both Hot Toys and Sideshow I've had to use Flex Pay on most of the stuff I've ordered lately.

I really do believe they are at the ceiling for what they can charge for some of their figures. I really don't want to see $599 for every Premium Format statue.

I definitely don't want to see $599 either, but I'm really worried that's where their headed if these price hikes continue. I just can't justify the $599 price tag on Darkseid, I think if he was $499 that would still be high. Hot Toys prices are going up too. Some of their sixth scale stuff is nearing the price of PFs.

I was really hoping to get Marty already so that I could get those rewards. Tge more rewards I have at my disposal, the more likely that I can convince the wife about the Delorean. Add to that the Flexpay Plan and I think that I may just have a shot at it!

I'm seeing that.

BTW... did you see the new Star Wars trailer?
