BTW, I can't believe you don't like MoS, the only PoS last year was the slapstick buddy cop kid-infested terrible-villan'd, suit-fails-with-a-light-touch, Iron-Man-less, glowstick-pepper comedy that was...IM3.
(Though the scrappy DIY Iron Man gadgets were pretty cool)

Also, shifting aspect ratio movies are HORRIBLE on my 136" 2.35:1 screen!
(And you will hate them too when 21:9 goes mainstream)
MoS is long, boring, sleep-inducing, plus it's got a preaching Costner (zzZZZ), a villain who was "born to be the bad guy" with no real personality or even attitude. Zack Snyder's incompetence of pulling off a Nolan+Bay style. So, to me the movie is a mess, a boring piece of mess. Fell asleep at least twice in the movie theater.

I actually dislike IM3 less than MoS.

Wow, opinion truly is an amazing thing. I actually feel just about opposite as you, I wish there was almost less action. I really really wish that first flight sequence was three or four times longer.

Is the Target-exclusive Loki cover only for the 3D version?

Looks like it based on the pic on this site. Unfortunately the 'exclusive' Marvel Comics 1-month pass doesn't really do much for me.

I'll probably go for the Best Buy steelbook.

I guess it's just me but that looks terrible. I don't understand the love for steel books. They don't do it for me. Give me the regular cover so it can fit with the rest of the MCU films.

Marvel will loose seam if they push into 2nd and 3rd tier source material and let the 1st tier age without fresh content.

They will never be in a higher grossing film, may as well milk it, but even Disney has payout limits. 5% of gross is a lot to pay a single actor.
Because Disney is making a ton of money and lets be honest a good chunk of it is because of RDJ. He is the heart and soul of that universe. With no Iron man there is no avengers universe. When he decides to leave there is going to be a problem. So yeah I don't blame him for trying to get as much as he possibly can. Acting doesn't last forever. I mean we are talking about a guy who fell off the face of the earth for a while. Believe me he knows it could happen again.

I agree completely except for there being a problem once he leaves. There are enough characters now and to come that will fill the void. Iron Man and RDJ are gret but the MCU can survive without him.

I just don't want any of the other actors to walk because of the enormous pay discrepancy.

1 movie deal at 50m and I'd retire.

let's make it a hat trick, i'm there with ya!

i hope they do a re-release of these types of cases for all of the movies, yes, i'll double dip to have them match in steel for the USA, cause we almost never get anything so, yeah, i'd gladly pay for all the marvel movies re-released in steelies like this one.

i may be alone, but it's ok, i've got the money to cover it! plus, i can always sell the discs to offset the cost!

i also know it will never happen!

I'm quite hoping they go back and do steelbooks for all the movies. I'd rebuy them all. I am eagerly hoping for this. And 6 Star wars ones.

Isn't that the U.K. steelbook? Isn't the U.S. version supposed to have the movie title printed on the front & spine?

yeah I think ill get that steel. thing looks sick. ill just track down a slip, put a blank case, holding the 2d disc, inside the slip, and I can still match all the other movies. the steelie will hold the 3d version. bring it.
