Lol trust me, more than just "a few people" ordered from All The Anime that don't live in the UK. I'm absolutely positive they're well aware that customers from overseas are buying their product, as that number is presumably in the hundreds. There's absolutely no way they're not aware.

Worst case scenario is that MY order gets cancelled for being curious lol.

I don't know anything special, it is just common sense and a standard in home video licensing. A distributor signs off on a show for selected territories. Direct sales to any other location are strictly forbidden by the contract. Otherwise, anyone could pay pennies to get the rights to distribute a show in the Vatican only then make big money by exporting it.

It's also quite certain that the "Shipping only to" sentence on the order page is a contractual requirement from the licensor. Now, as to why they blatantly ignore this statement on the order page is a mystery only them would have the definite answer.

To which I hopefully get a concrete answer for soon. Might not get one at all. The main reason I want to know if my order will get cancelled or not is to be sure incase I need to scope out the GKids release when all those cancelled pre-orders open up next week.

The Ultimate Edition was going to be available until it sold out, which it did, in only 8 hours for the NA version. If it didn't sell out by release, they were going to raise the price. The UK set has a similar situation, the current price is an "early bird" and it'll be raised by release, but it most likely will be sold out before then. Australia and New Zealand, there's only 500 units, so that too should sell out before release.

Hopefully something will work out for you. I'd hate to see a fellow avid Evangelion home video collector miss out on something like this for mere financial reasons.

Personally speaking, I passed on the Ultimate Edition since I couldn't justify paying $300 for a compromised release even if the excision of FMTTM was practically unavoidable. Not that I didn't have the funds or opportunity though, as both were present when the preorders went live. I'm just stubborn and frugal like that.

I might bite the bullet for a stripped-down 6-disc release (i.e. the five primary content discs w/ Neflix dub + the single bonus features disc) if it were at the $100-$125 price point, though.
