Pre-ordered Shameless Season 1 blu-ray from Best Buy using the 15% discount. Came to $40.73 I believe after discount before tax. I love this show, can't wait to re-watch it before Season 2 starts in January!

hard decision if i didnt have Alien anthology already...(sarcasm)

about 25.00 shipped from amazon.co.uk and have the order arrive in about 2 weeks or:

about 39.99 + taxes from bb.ca and have the order arrive in about 2 weeks (which has been my recent time with them).

as long as Alien anthology is region free it should be a no brainer for most people...unless you really think its worth the gamble that maybe just maybe you will receive Alien Anthology within a week...honestly though why would anyone be in such a hurry to watch it if they were able to wait this long for a good price anyways? a week or two won't kill you

no real hot day one releases today, got that ice age for $9.99 from bertbuy

might be a mere slim 25mins runtime, but for scrat

nice slipcover, 3-disc set. for those who don't have AVP 2-pack yet, ya can PM it at bb with futurestop for $9.29

had to get my copy from fs for $12.99 'cause bb was outta stock

more funny, they run at $19.99ea if bought solo! nice slipbox cover

spectre was $4.99 from zellers

futureshop has alien vs predator 1 and 2 for $12.99 i was able to price match at best buy and get for $9.30

The new box set comes with 5 individual cases, and is missing the big book found in the old box set.

ah ok thanks for the info. so only thing dif is packaging and no book just 5 movies in a slip case i would aussme? no change in the versions of the movies there all the same as the oringal box?

I have the original bigger set, and if I had the choice, I'd most likely get the smaller one. The bigger set is beautifully designed, and the book is gorgeous, but it takes up too much room on my shelf. The disc hubs are also kind of a pain in the ass. Not BTTF bad, but you shouldn't have to struggle just to watch a movie.

OI highly recommend getting the set either way. While the later films are often far from great, the entire series really works as a whole.

ya thats what i was thinking to. big box will take up more space. and custom packing can be a pain in the rear. i wish all box sets were just either each movie in there own case in and a slip case over that or like a single case that holds muti discs in a slip cover.

Did it happen last year, and does anybody remember if the deals were that good? I'm assuming it's going to be similar to the FS VIP sale they had last week
